At Rustic Ridge Rescue & Rehab, our mission is simple — rescue horses in need, restore their health, and help them find safe, loving homes. Every year, countless horses are neglected, abandoned, surrendered, or sent to kill pens because they are no longer wanted, too old, injured, untrained, or simply overlooked. Many arrive scared, malnourished, and in desperate need of medical care, proper nutrition, and patience. We believe every horse deserves a second chance. Rustic Ridge Rescue & Rehab is committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and responsibly rehoming horses through compassionate care, rehabilitation, training, and long-term support. From emergency intake to recovery and adoption, every horse that comes through our gates is treated with dignity, kindness, and respect. Your donations help provide: Emergency veterinary care and medications, feed, hay, grain, and nutritional supplements, farrier services and hoof rehabilitation, vaccinations, deworming, and routine health care, safe shelter, fencing, bedding, and pasture maintenance, transportation and rescue expenses, training and groundwork for successful adoption, daily care and rehabilitation for neglected and at-risk horses. Horse rescue is not a quick process. Many horses require weeks or even months of feeding programs, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and training before they are healthy enough to begin a new chapter. Some may remain in lifelong sanctuary care due to age, injury, or trauma.
