Ken and Kalli, my step-dad and his wife, have been through an incredibly difficult time recently. Just a few weeks ago, Kalli was in a serious car accident that left her with several broken ribs and a fractured knee cap. While she’s been trying to recover, Ken—who has already been struggling after suffering two strokes—had a fall at Walmart. He now has bleeding on the brain, a broken wrist, and a broken elbow. With both of them facing major health challenges, neither is able to work right now, and they’re both in a tough spot physically and emotionally.

Medical bills, daily costs, and the stress of not being able to work have made things even harder for them. Please help Elliott see his way through safety with his brain surgery and recovery so that he can continue to inspire others through his photography and his love of life. </em>

<div>Our amazing Elliott Howell is a 30-year-old travel, product, and brand photographer who was living a beautiful, full life until March 13. That Sunday night he had a seizure and within moments, his entire life changed. He was rushed to the hospital where he spent the next 20 hours undergoing all kinds of tests and scans, finally to discover that he has a massive 2.5-inch cancerous brain tumor. The tumor is in the left hemisphere of his brain and has likely been there for years, but has progressed rapidly within the last few months.

<div>The neurosurgeon believes that Elliott may have stage 3 glioma, a rare brain cancer that is potentially life-threatening.
</div>

<div>Elliott will have to undergo brain surgery on April 6, and he will be awake during the process. The surgeon and his team of neurologists will be working during the surgery to map Elliott’s brain using electrodes in order to determine what parts of the tumor they can safely remove without causing harm to his brain. The surgeon is unsure how much of the tumor he will be able to remove until they are in there testing it out. If all of the tumor cannot safely be taken out, Elliott will have to go through radiation and chemotherapy to get rid of what is left. Radiation will last for a couple of months and chemotherapy will be from 6 months up to 1 year.

<div>Despite the shattering news that would put most people in the deepest and darkest place of despair, Elliott remains incredibly strong, positive, and hopeful for his surgery and for his future. His strength and perseverance are things the rest of us can only aspire to have – even on the best of days.

<div>As Elliott undergoes this surgery and the recovery that comes after, he will be unable to work for anywhere from 6 weeks up to many months, potentially even longer if chemotherapy proves to be the only option. Following the surgery, he will likely have to learn how to speak again, as well as re-educate himself, Billy Madison-style. Elliott will also be on a specific diet to keep his body as healthy as possible as it undergoes the stress of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. He will be working with naturopathic doctors as well to see how he can join Western and Eastern medicine to see him through his healing journey back to a place of health.

A friend said that only those who are strong enough to handle something as terrifying as a brain tumor are chosen to endure this kind of journey, and Elliott has proven to be more strong than ever in these last few weeks. That strength will surely continue despite the hardships that lie in his future.

ELLIOTT’S BATTLE WITH BRAIN CANCER

<div>Hi, my name is Jessie and I am fundraising for Pat who passed away Wednesday September 22, 2021 due to natural causes.. This was an unexpectant tragedy to his loved ones and fur babies. Although he wasn't social, he was dependable , honorable and will be greatly missed. He had a passion for Photography  and never hesitated to get his hands dirty. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of friends and family, so any support would be greatly appreciated!

<p>People close to use know that Zivah has a lot of random medical issues, one of which is sleep apnea. She was hospitalized when she was a baby because it makes her oxygen saturation drop, and the doctors finally want to do something about it. They think it's being caused by enlarged tonsils and adenoids, so she was scheduled for surgery next Wednesday. However, Billings Clinic has informed me that they will not do the surgery unless we can come up with $3000, the portion that our insurance won't cover. This was the only date that the doctor had available before Zivah's preschool starts in August. Since Zivah has some developmental delays (these also might be due to the sleep apnea) we really don't want her to miss any days that first month while they are learning classroom procedures. We are doing everything in our power to come up with the payment.

Zivah Needs Surgery

Everyone who knew John Antonioli has a story, and more than stories about John, they are unfailingly stories with John: the way he laughed with you, the way he was always up for an adventure, and the way he connected deeply with the people he knew and loved. <br /><br />John passed away unexpectedly on March 20 and leaves behind grieving friends and family, including my sister Medellee Antonioli and their two young children, Clementine and Lucky, whose years of building stories with John were incredibly rich and so very tragically few.<br /><br />Funds raised will directly support Medellee and the kids as they begin life without John and will also memorialize John with a gift to the Bozeman Fish Technology Center. Any amount is truly appreciated.

He estimated the loss to about $10K including the tools and the trailer itself. If you know my dad, you know he is very proud and would be absolutely mortified if he know about this fundraiser. Jules Bullock was the most kind and beautiful soul. They always put other people above themselves and made an impact on everyone they met. We are raising money for the funeral costs of our beautiful child, sibling, and friend. Eric is my oldest nephew.  On Monday, July 20th at 9:39 p.m. Eric and his girlfriend were on his motorcycle stopped at a stop sign near Laurel, MT just outside of Billings when they were rear ended by a Chevy Impala traveling  at a high rate of speed.  Sadly  his  girlfriend did not survive the impact.  The driver fled the scene on foot as the collision broke the front axle of the car rendering it undrivable.  The MHP are searching for this person but have not been able to locate them as of yet.<br /><br />Eric received life threatening injuries from the impact and is currently on a ventilator to assist him in breathing.  He has a segmented fracture of his fibula, a fracture of his tibia, severe damage to the ligaments in the  back of his knee, multiple broken ribs, a spinal injury and multiple cuts, bruises and abrasions.  He will need multiple surgeries, skin grafts and physical therapy in the upcoming weeks.  His next surgery will involve the fusion of multiple vertebra in his back.<br /><br />Funds donated will be used to help offset medical and living expenses for Eric as he recovers from these devastating injuries.  Your help is deeply appreciated by the entire Graff family.

<em>They say cancer is hard, but to be honest, nothing is harder than having to ask for help (in this case, a fundraiser) from the people that you respect and love.  </em><br /><br /><em>The short version</em>: <br />My cancer is back, there is a lot of it, and we are going to do what we can...but we have to be realistic with what we are looking at. We have to relocate from our home—and the costs are going to be pretty crazy. We'll be using this page to post updates and my progress through treatment.<br /><br /><em>The detailed version</em>:<br />In 2011 I was diagnosed with Mesothelioma. After months in the hospital, a few crazy procedures, chemo, trips to New York, Chicago, and Boston, and about 40 days of radiation, I was very grateful to hear that the disease was contained.  <br /><br />Since then we've done a pretty dang good job at enjoying every day. Chelsea and I were lucky enough to wed in 2012 and in 2016 we moved to Helena, Montana. We fulfilled another dream of building a life in that incredible place, with wonderful people and careers. I have spent nearly the past three years working with Farcountry Press, a fantastic regional publisher...which in itself was a dream come true.  <br /><br />While we knew one day the disease would return, the speed of this growth, and the size of the tumor has caught us by surprise. In February I began feeling increased pain and the MRIs, multiple CTs, PETS, and biopsies confirmed what we already knew–that the cancer has returned.  <br /><br />You better believe we will be aggressive in doing everything possible to put up a good fight. Unfortunately, to do that, Chelsea and I have to move...and do so quickly.  We will be relocating to Atlanta to my Mom's (who is graciously sheltering us and our pack of dogs). We are so sad to leave Montana, and our great jobs — but grateful for a place to pool our resources together, heal, and get to work.<br /><br />I will begin chemotherapy before the end of April.  <br /><br />Unfortunately, because we've been through this before we know the costs of treatment, issues with insurance, cost of moving, loss of income, travel expenses and all the other caveats that come along with having a rare(r) and aggressive cancer.  <br /><br />We know the costs will build, and while I'll do my best to continue to work, it would be prideful and silly to pretend like we don't need help.  Over the course of my treatment, I will continue to post updates to this page as we do everything humanly possible to fight this nasty junk and hopefully make all of you proud.  <br /><br />As I've said before - I'm grateful for all of you.  <br />If I don't know you, and you've made it to this page - thank you for being here. We appreciate you too. <br /><br /><em>Cancer touches us all.</em> There isn't a single person that doesn't have a loved one that hasn't been affected by this disease. I have been elected as a National delegate to represent Montana  for Bernie Sanders. The DNC convention is in Philly starting July 24th and is a private expense. To represent our vision I need your help to raise funds to pay for expenses (airline, hotel, fees etc) They are estimating the cost  to be $4000 +. Just like the Bernie campaign.... anything is appreciated

<p>Hello Everyone,</p>
<p>I want to take a moment to say a HUGE thank-you to each and everyone of you that have donated towards Marthas recovery.<br />I would also like to take a moment to introduce myself! </p>
<p>I am Krista Osterwyk-McKnight , a very close friend to Martha and her family, growing up babysitting her own 4 boys since the oldest one was an infant! You could also say I was the daughter she never had as well :) Living the summers with her helping out around the daycare and with her family during her busy season of Martha being a huge part in the S.W.Y.R.A, so she not only cares for kids but is a huge part in rodeo for them as well! </p>
<p>The funds that are being collected are being put to good uses in so many categories:<br />-Counseling<br />-lost wages, having to pay two employees to keep her daycare open during her healing time<br />-Medical, a very huge portion of this will be going towards the dr appts and surgery for her eye<br />-any other expenses that she will be faced with during this time<br /><br />Thanks again for all the love and support :) I will continue to update everyone as she heals as well!<br />-Krista<br /><br /><br /><br />This is Martha McClure the daycare owner that got assaulted by Francis Jackson while protecting the children at her daycare. She is not only a loving,caring and very supportive mother but loves every child that is in her care as one of her own.</p>
<p>Thank you for all you prayers and support. Martha had surgery on her eye Monday Oct. 12th and has a long road of healing ahead of her.<br /><br /></p>
