Heya, my name is Lilah. I am a AuDHD & queer 25-year-old activist and environmentalist.
I have struggled a lot with my mental health in the past several years due to my neurodivergence, the climate crisis, sexual trauma, mental health stigma, and our harmful mental health system.
So, I'll be walking my second (& third) Camino de Santiago early next year to raise money for mental health. I'm planning to walk the Camino Ingles & the Camino Finisterre (209km). I'll start in Ferrol, stop in Santiago, and then end in Muxía in Spain, which will take around 2 weeks.
I solo walked the Camino Portuguese de la Costa (280km) in 2023 when I was 22, and it's one of the best things I've ever done.
The mental health charities/organisations I want to raise money for are: the Samaritans, Bipolar UK, the Climate Psychology Alliance, Compassionate Mental Health & Mad Youth Organise.
These mental health charities/organisations either supported me when I was struggling, or give me hope that the current mental health system can be reformed to be less coercive, controlling & carceral, and instead more compassionate.
Please donate and share if you can :)
