It’s been 50 days since Zach’s accident on July 15, and he remains in the hospital. With Zach’s permission, we wanted to share a quick update. Zach has needed additional surgeries due to an infection in his right leg, requiring tissue removal. He currently has a wound vac and will eventually need a skin graft. His left arm also required additional cleaning and a wound vac, and he continues to recover from the wound on his backside, which required surgery last week. His journey is far from over, but this is not a setback — it’s another step toward healing. Zach continues to fight every day, and we couldn’t be more proud of him.
