Fenris Rivera has been in our family since my husband joined the Army, and he’s been with us ever since. He completed our family in ways we didn’t know we needed, bringing so much joy and love into our lives. Fenris has two other siblings he adores, and he loves to play, run, nibble on his toys, and most of all, cuddle in bed with us. His sweet personality and playful spirit have made every day brighter.
Recently, I noticed Fenris was limping and not putting any pressure on his back leg. Concerned, I took him to the vet, where X-rays revealed some difficult news. Fenris needs surgery on his knee, and he’s also been diagnosed with hip dysplasia on the right side of his hip. We’ve been referred to a hospital vet in Birmingham to see a surgeon who can help him get the care he needs. The thought of Fenris not being able to run and play with his siblings or snuggle up with us is heartbreaking.
The costs for Fenris’s surgery, aftercare, follow-up appointments, and possible physical therapy are overwhelming. All I want is for my sweet boy to have a happy, joyful life, free from pain and able to do all the things he loves. Your support will help cover these essential treatments and give Fenris the best chance at a full recovery.
THANK YOU ALL WHO CONTRIBUTE. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to both of us. Any help you can give will make a huge difference in Fenris’s life and help us get him back on his paws.
