This is Kaylee she has recently has went in remission for leukemia!! Unfortunately this past March 2025 Kaylee was diagnosed with a disease called Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS). This type of disease is a neurological disease that starts in your toes and works your way up. Kaylee has spent over 75 days in Children’s Mercy at 30 of those days were spent in the PICU. On a ventilator. Kaylee has worked her so hard the year of 2025 rebuild her upper body strength. Kaylee has had a few set backs, with a bone infection and is scheduled to have a few surgery to repair her pressure sore. Kaylee maintains a normal life through homebound learning and spending time with friends and family. Kaylee has a positive outlook on life and always keeps a smile in her face. I have created this new GoFundMe page with Kaylee‘s new diagnosis and to share her experience through her treatment of now GPS.
