Johnny(John) Rodriguez Dunaway

My name is John Dunaway. As a Gen Z, young 20's father of twin boys, I was lucky enough to have found a rent-to-own mobile home here in the Asheville, NC area. Everything seemed great until Hurricane Helen hit over a year ago today (Feb 6th, 2026); and a tree fell onto our future home. The owners had nothing to do with us afterwards. Not even 3 weeks after the hurricane, we were kicked out. So, with some last-minute thinking, me and my partner took both our paychecks and whatever savings we had and bought an old times camper, which we have been living in since. Again, today being Feb 6th, 2026. We've been struggling constantly with issue after issue since as well. Between careless companies to work for, toxic drug addict family members, and even greater loss than just losing a home, and also family not helping each other, just fighting amongst each other, we have had enough. I tried making a GoFundMe for these same reasons right after Helen, but GoFundMe, I guess, frowned upon something I wrote or did. I'm not sure, but this is my 2nd attempt concerning our loss of a home and much more. Disaster after disaster. If this gets anyone to read it, please take your time and think about donating something to help me get my family into a home to grow up in that's better than a camper in a campsite. Always having to move ourselves.
