<div>Hi, my name is Brian. I am Gina Van Appelen’s husband. My family is trying to raise money to help with Gina’s rehabilitation costs. Gina had a massive stroke on October 6, 2023. She has lost feeling on the right side of her body and her speech has been severely affected. She is currently receiving inpatient care at the well renowned Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center in Downey. The costs are quite high so we are humbly asking for help. We just want to see our beloved Gina get the best care possible. If anyone knows Gina, you know her positive jovial spirit! <div>I wanted to take a moment to update you on what's been going on with my husband lately. This past year has been quite the roller coaster ride for him. As some of you may know, last July he had a serious medical issue while he was in Vegas, and it has since opened up a can of worms.

<div>He has been doing his best to manage the pain and headaches that came along with it, but unfortunately, three weeks ago, his condition took a turn for the worse. he has been dealing with excruciatingly painful headaches, back and neck pain, nausea, extreme weight loss, and the worst exhaustion he has ever experienced.

<div>Over the past year, he has undergone countless blood tests, spinal taps, MRI scans, and hospital visits, but we haven't been able to find any concrete answers. The only information we have is that it may have been a minor stroke and that he has a leak in his spine.
</div>
<div>He had an appointment with A spine specialist, and to our surprise, We were informed that he needs to undergo neck surgery as soon as possible. This news has left us feeling scared and uncertain about how this will all work out financially and physically.

<div>I'm reaching out to all of you to kindly ask for your positive thoughts and prayers as my family and I navigate through the next steps. Once the surgery is done, He won't be able to work or lift anything over 10 lbs for 4-6 weeks. It's important to note that this surgery doesn't guarantee any resolution to his pain or headache issues. However, his doctor believes it's necessary to protect him from the possibility of becoming paralyzed. ❤️

Husband's spine surgery & my unexpected job loss

<div>It is with great sadness we share the passing of Allen Dale Shaffar III, unexpectedly on the morning of November 14, 2022. Allen was a true friend and loved by many.  He had a smile that lit up a room and a heart of gold. Allen was a doting father and loving spouse. He didn't give a second thought to offering help to others.  He will be missed dearly by many.

<div>We have started a fund to help out Allen's loved ones he has left behind with funeral and crematory expenses.  We want to help alleviate some of the financial hardship for his Fiancee,  April, and their 3 children, Jamisen (13), Lily (12), and Willow (11 weeks).

<div>Yesterday , we tragically and unexpectedly lost Beau.  Anyone whom knows Beau knows the loving, &amp; goofy man he was. He would do anything for  his family, &amp; everything for his daughter. He was a father, Leaving behind his four year old daughter Adaline, A brother to Hunter &amp; Logan, the son to Joanna, &amp; step son of Brad.

<div>He’s now with his Dad Joely &amp; grandparents.

<div>Beau adored his daughter, and has made his whole life around her. He has turned his life around to become an admirable man, and father. All for Adaline. He had a great career, had recently purchased a house so Adaline can have a home.

<div>This was unexpected, &amp; Expectedly Adaline is having a very hard time missing daddy.

<div>With this we just hope we can get a few funds to help out Adaline for a little future savings.

On Friday, May 28th our lovely friend Lindsay Ashton was involved in a whitewater kayaking accident on the Swan River in Bigfork, MT. Lindsay was life flighted to Kalispell Regional Medical Center after suffering a head injury and a near drowning event. She is currently in a coma and being cared for in the ICU at KRMC.<br /><br />Lindsay grew up in Helena, MT and now lives in Missoula, MT with her boyfriend Cooper. Lindsay is a wildland firefighter in the summers and is very active in many outdoor pursuits including whitewater kayaking, skiing, mountain biking, and paragliding. Anyone who has met Lindsay knows how much of a joy she is to be around, and has undoubtedly been affected by her cheerful and wonderful personality. Lindsay would do anything for her friends and family, and she sure could use our help at this time. We are extremely saddened by the loss suffered by all residents in our community.  It has really hit residents at CPM Real Estate Services, Inc.  The Almeda fire ripped through many properties we manage.  In some cases completely destroying three mobile home parks, a 30 unit apartment building and more.  There are some people who do not have insurance and have lost everything.   We want to do what we can to help them during this incredibly difficult time.  CPM is going to start with $10,000 in this gofundme made to help these residents.  We estimate there are a little over 350 homes destroyed under management.  Our goal of $75,000 is to help provide financial support for these residents for basic necessities, such as food, temporary housing, clothing, etc. as many have lost everything. No matter the amount, it all helps and will make a difference in letting these residents know how much they mean to our community.  The beneficiaries of this fund will be the residents of Coleman Creek Estates Manufactured Home Park.  CPM has managed this manufactured home park for many years and many of the residents did not have insurance.  We will deposit the funds directly into an account set up at People's Bank of Commerce in the name of CPM Real Estate Services, Inc. Almeda Fire Gofundme.  We will purchase visa gift cards for the residents at Coleman Creek and have the residents come pick up the gift cards.
