Hello everyone,
My name is Abbas Abbas, and I am writing these words with honesty, not weakness.
I am a war survivor from Ukraine. My home was destroyed, my work disappeared, and the life I once knew was taken from me piece by piece. Like many others, I was forced to leave everything behind and start again with nothing but my memories and pain.
Today, my struggle did not end with escaping the war.
Due to serious physical difficulties, standing and walking have become extremely painful for me. My condition prevents me from doing physical work, and each day is a challenge just to move, to function, and to survive with dignity.
What hurts most is not only the physical pain, but the feeling of being left behind — watching life move forward while I struggle to rebuild even the basics.
I am asking for help because I want to live with dignity, not dependency.
Your support will help me:
• Start a small, manageable project that I can handle despite my limited mobility
• Cover basic living expenses such as rent, food, and essential needs
• Pay for medical care and treatment that I cannot afford alone
This support would give me a chance to work, to regain purpose, and to slowly rebuild a future that war and illness tried to take away.
If you are unable to donate, please know that sharing my story or keeping me in your prayers means more than you know.
Thank you for reading my story.
Thank you for seeing me as a human being.
Thank you for giving me hope when I am struggling to find it.
With gratitude,
Abbas
