Hello my name is Patrick jenney and I’m starting a go fund me for a good friend and fellow union brother Robert Barry. He had a serious health condition come up and is gonna need some time to recover. He will be missing out on work in the mean time and I thought it would be nice to help relieve some stress by setting up a go fund me to help pay for bills, food, and travel expenses to the doctor. He could probably use help with some yard work like mowing for a few weeks. Anything will help until he is back on his feet. In the meantime please send some prayers his way. Thank you.

The beatdown of throat cancer began July 2 for my brother, David "Sixtoe" Johnson. That day marked his first day of radiation and chemo treatments that would continue for a total of seven weeks at The James Cancer Hospital. Due to the treatments, it became nearly impossible to eat/swallow resulting in the need for a feeding tube. Although his treatments are complete at this point, he has had some setbacks with two lengthy hospital stays due to a variety of infections and fevers. He continues the fight and has a long road ahead with healing and recovery.

We continue to stand on God's Word for complete healing. Joshua 1:9 states, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." David maintains a positive attitude and has been extremely appreciative of all the prayers, well wishes, and offers to help. Unfortunately, he has been unable to work and the medical bills are piling up. Any financial help will be much appreciated as he moves forward in his fight. #throatpunchcancer

David "Sixtoe" Johnson's Cancer Fight

Just after Owen turned 1 month old we rushed him to the hospital because he was breathing hard. He stayed in the ICU at children’s for almost a week before we found out he had a genetic heart defect called a VSD. It is a completely fixable heart condition but it is going to require open heart surgery to fix. We hoped we could push him to a year old before surgery but he is getting sicker and weaker and we found out that it had to be done this week. (A little over 5 months old) Thanks to all the friends and family that have been here for us through all this. Help with any out of pocket medical expenses would be a blessing for us.

Ozzy has bladder stones that require immediate surgery. We are attempting to raise $5,000 to cover this unexpected cost.

On the evening of Wednesday April 11th, Ozzy started displaying some unusual behavior - even by her standards. She would run to a spot in the backyard, attempt to pee, and then immediately start circling again to find another place to pee. This continued into the late evening with her requesting repeatedly to go outside.

As the wee hours of the morning approached, my gut feeling was that I had to take her to the emergency 24-hour vet. So, at 1:00 am we jumped into the car and headed to Studio City.

Consultation, examination and x-rays led to the diagnosis of bladder stones. Ozzy has a cluster of small stones in her bladder and one of those stones got free and was able to block her urethra - making it impossible for her to pee.

Our options were to agree to surgery for $4,000, try alternative methods of breaking up the stones for $1,700 or drain her bladder for $60 and go to her regular vet in the morning. I wasn't comfortable making a decision like this at 3am on one hour of sleep, so we drained her bladder and are planning to proceed with surgery asap.

Ozzy's x-rays

The problem with veterinary treatment is that it basically acts as a hostage situation until you pay the bill. Our family's current financial status is functional but tight without very much (if anything) going towards savings.

Our options are limited and we would normally never ask for something like this unless we had something of real value for Ozzy's fans. With that in mind, we'd like to offer some modest rewards as a thank you.

Anyone who donates $15 or more gets a personalized email from Ozzy
Anyone who donates $50 or more gets a full Ozzy sticker pack
Anyone who donates $100 or more gets a custom Ozzy t-shirt
Beyond that (if you are so kind) we will find a suitable reward for you in addition to all of those listed above.

Ozzy means the world to us and the thought of anything happening to her sends me into a state of panic. As a family we have had a very difficult past 18 months and would really, truly appreciate any help in keeping Ozzy safe and healthy.

Thank You
Ozzy, E.J. & Killian (pug, human & little human)

Ozzy Needs Surgery

Clayton's hand was severly injured while loading out a show at Nationwide Arena last week and he is still in the hospital. I am trying to raise funds to help out Clayton while he is unable to work and to help his family with any out-of-pocket costs related to Clayton's care. As we all begin celebrating the holidays, I encourage you to make a donation. Thank you.
-Matt

Our purpose at Michigan Pug Rescue is to accept pugs into our program that are in need of finding their forever home. Our organization is made up of volunteers who dedicate their time and efforts into caring for the pugs in the rescue. We provide all veterinary care and temporary housing in foster family homes until we are able to place the pug with a family who is committed to loving and caring for their new family member.

Recently, with the assistance of Pug Partners of Nebraska, "Pug Luv" saved 15 pugs from a puppy mill in Missouri and brought them into the rescue! Their vet care is estimated to be between $10,000 and $15,000. This is in addition to the fees paid to free them at the auction in Iowa city. Each pug will be fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped as well as treated for any conditions that are discovered during their veterinary evaluation.

Michigan Pug Rescue is a 501C3 charitable organization. Your donations are tax deductible. Please join our efforts in helping all of these pugs find their forever homes!

www.michiganpugrescue.com

A Serious Medical Condition

In June, he experienced a sudden and extreme medical emergency when his right leg swelled dramatically overnight. After urgent evaluations, he was diagnosed with Charcot neuropathy, a rare and serious diabetes-related condition that causes the bones in the foot to weaken and collapse.

He was forced to wait eight weeks for a surgical evaluation due to swelling, and when he finally saw the surgeon, he was told his foot was already collapsing and needed immediate surgery.

He is now in a minimum six-month recovery period where he is not allowed to put any weight at all on his right foot.

He is essentially bedbound. He receives just one nurse visit and no other in-home support!

A New Challenge: Housing Displacement

Just two days ago, he received unexpected news:

His landlord is gifting the property he has lived in for 13 years, which means he must move out by April.

Moving while bedbound and unable to stand — during a long medical recovery — adds another significant financial and emotional burden at the worst possible time.

He is now facing:

•	No income

•	No access to government help

•	Six months unable to walk

•	Housing displacement in April

This combination is overwhelming even in the best of circumstances.
