Donate to help a fellow union brother

The beatdown of throat cancer began July 2 for my brother, David "Sixtoe" Johnson.   That day marked his first day of radiation and chemo treatments that would continue for a total of seven weeks at The James Cancer Hospital.  Due to the treatments,  it became nearly impossible to eat/swallow resulting in the need for a feeding tube.  Although his treatments are complete at this point, he has had some setbacks with two lengthy hospital stays due to a variety of infections and fevers.  He continues the fight and has a long road ahead with healing and recovery.  <br /><br />We continue to stand on God's Word for complete healing.  Joshua 1:9 states, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. David "Sixtoe" Johnson's Cancer Fight

Just after Owen turned 1 month old we rushed him to the hospital because he was breathing hard. He stayed in the ICU at children’s for almost a week before we found out he had a genetic heart defect called a VSD. It is a completely fixable heart condition but it is going to require open heart surgery to fix. We hoped we could push him to a year old before surgery but he is getting sicker and weaker and we found out that it had to be done this week. (A little over 5 months old) Thanks to all the friends and family that have been here for us through all this. Help with any out of pocket medical expenses would be a blessing for us.

<strong>Ozzy has bladder stones that require immediate surgery. We are attempting to raise $5,000 to cover this unexpected cost.</strong><br /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/29077824_1523549383.8397_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br />On the evening of Wednesday April 11th, Ozzy started displaying some unusual behavior - even by her standards. She would run to a spot in the backyard, attempt to pee, and then immediately start circling again to find another place to pee. This continued into the late evening with her requesting repeatedly to go outside.<br /><br />As the wee hours of the morning approached, my gut feeling was that I had to take her to the emergency 24-hour vet. So, at 1:00 am we jumped into the car and headed to Studio City.<br /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/29077824_1523548307.5445_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br />Consultation, examination and x-rays led to the diagnosis of bladder stones. Ozzy has a cluster of small stones in her bladder and one of those stones got free and was able to block her urethra - making it impossible for her to pee.<br /><br />Our options were to agree to surgery for $4,000, try alternative methods of breaking up the stones for $1,700 or drain her bladder for $60 and go to her regular vet in the morning. I wasn't comfortable making a decision like this at 3am on one hour of sleep, so we drained her bladder and are planning to proceed with surgery asap.<br /><br /><em><strong>Ozzy's x-rays</strong></em><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/29077824_1523547554.0053_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br />The problem with veterinary treatment is that it basically acts as a hostage situation until you pay the bill.  Our family's current financial status is functional but tight without very much (if anything) going towards savings. <br /><br />Our options are limited and we would normally never ask for something like this unless we had something of real value for Ozzy's fans. Clayton's hand was severly injured while loading out a show at Nationwide Arena last week and he is still in the hospital. I am trying to raise funds to help out Clayton while he is unable to work and to help his family with any out-of-pocket costs related to Clayton's care. Derby was staying at a friend's house and unfortunately got out.<br /><br />After a day of searching the Portland area we found out Derby was hit by a car!<br /><br />Unfortunately the nice people that brought him in witness him being thrown out of another vehicle, and being run over by the proceeding car.<br /><br />There are no guarantees but Derby's doctor feels like he can pull thru with the proper treatment!<br /><br /><br />Derby is full of life and character please help in raising money.<br /><br />Any funds raised that exceed this amount will be donated to the local SPCA.

Our purpose at Michigan Pug Rescue is to accept pugs into our program that are in need of finding their forever home. Our organization is made up of volunteers who dedicate their time and efforts into caring for the pugs in the rescue.
