From 2020 to 2023, our daughter fought ovarian cancer. Those three years changed our family forever. She endured treatment with a strength no child should ever have to find. Today, she is in remission — something we are deeply grateful for. But remission does not mean life has returned to normal. She continues to experience lasting side effects from treatment. Ongoing appointments, monitoring, medications, and recovery needs are still part of our lives. The emotional and financial impact of those years didn’t end when treatment did. Between extended medical care, time away from work, and the high cost of living in California, we have been stretched beyond what we can sustain. After doing everything we could to stay afloat, we’ve reached a point where remaining here is no longer financially realistic. In addition, I am facing a necessary surgery this month. It cannot be postponed, and while it is manageable medically, the added expense during an already fragile season has made things even more difficult. We are preparing to relocate to a more affordable state so we can stabilize and rebuild. Our goal is simple: to create breathing room and long-term security after years of living in survival mode. This fundraiser will help with: • Ongoing medical expenses related to long-term side effects for our daughter • My upcoming surgery costs • Moving expenses • Securing stable housing in a more affordable area • Basic living expenses during this transition We are not asking for anything extravagant.
