<div>In October of 2023, tragedy struck my life when I lost my beloved wife to a drunk driver. Amidst the overwhelming grief and the responsibility of raising our children alone, I discovered the power of music - it gave me solace and healing as this amazing community came together to help. With the desire to fill the void in my heart and to create a better future for my children, I decided to embark on a mission to give back to the world through the language of music.

<div>Washingtones Records is a record label founded with my dear friend and business partner Tim Mechling. We have both known the depths of sorrow, as he recently lost his father, and together we are dedicated to turning our pain into purpose.

We stand for supporting local musicians labels and businesses, and preserving what it's good about this area. <div>As you might know, we hope to be the first record label in Washington state to invest in and distribute PET recyclable records. Polyethylene terephthalate is safer, more environmentallly friendly, and just as versatile as PVC, plus it's non toxic, it won't offgass volatile organic compounds over time, and it's %100 recyclable. This will not be an inexpensive endeavor, however, and here are the expenses we face in abandoning PVC and changing the analog music paradigm.
