My name is Valiant, and I am reaching out for help as I work to rebuild my life after some incredibly difficult years. Five years ago, I found myself in a relationship that led to a wrongful charge and probation. Since then, I have been doing everything I can to live for truth and knowledge, staying drug and alcohol free, and focusing on my well-being. Unfortunately, most of my disability income goes toward probation fees, leaving me struggling to afford basic needs like housing and food. I have even had to rely on the kindness of others for a place to sleep, and I am behind on my probation payments because I didn’t receive disability until late in my sentence.
Paying off these fees is critical for me. If I can’t pay them, I risk being jailed for up to five years—something I truly don’t deserve. I want nothing more than to reclaim my freedom and put my limited income toward building a stable life. Two years ago, I was in a car accident caused by a drunk driver, which made things even harder. I have no family support, as my mother passed away from COVID in 2019, and I often feel alone in this world. But I am determined to keep moving forward and to prove that I am worthy of a second chance.
I am asking for help to pay off my probation fees in full. Your support would not only help me avoid jail, but also remind me that I am not alone and that there are good people out there who care. I promise to show proof that every dollar goes directly to Dallas County Court Systems. Thank you for your kindness and support. Great gratitude, Valiant.
