A recent update from Joe: All we can do is pray for the best. Yesterday was rough after going to xxxxxxx for procedure on Tuesday and today is xxxxxxxxx and xxxxxxx PT. All these co pays eating and putting gas in car are killing me. I will be lucky to make it to September 3rd without running out of money. Just wanted to keep you updated.

My name is Christie and I have gotten my friends blessing to create this GFM on his behalf. Joe is one of the kindest people I know. He is the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back. Unfortunately, he has been dealing with health issues for years that have become increasingly overwhelming. There is truly nothing that can prepare you for a chronic illness. Living on disability has made it incredibly difficult for him to keep up with his bills and rent. Every month he stretches every dollar just to cover the basics, and lately it’s become nearly impossible to make ends meet. The constant stress of wondering whether he’ll be able to pay rent or keep the lights on has not done any good for his illness and the symptoms that come along with it. Joe’s lease ends on August 31, and we need to help him find a healthier, more affordable place to live. Myself and the rest of our tribe are doing everything we can to ease the financial burden his illness has created. Any funds raised will go directly toward his essential bills and rent so he can get through this difficult period and secure a more stable home. Your support would give him the breathing room he needs to focus on his health and stability instead of constantly worrying about how he’ll get by.
