On October 29th, the world lost an incredible man far too soon. James Rudzki, only 29 years old, was doing the work he loved as a lineman when a tragic hit-and-run accident took his life.

James was known for his hard work, his laughter, and his huge heart. He was the kind of man who would do anything for the people he loved. He was a loyal friend, a caring brother, a loving partner and father, and a hardworking coworker who felt more like family to those who knew him. His sudden passing has left an enormous void in the lives of all who knew him. He leaves behind his girlfriend Destiney, their beautiful daughter, his family, and a community of friends who are grieving this unimaginable loss.

Just days after the accident, James and Destiney were set to close on their first home together. A place they had dreamed about and worked so hard for. They were planning their future; moving in as a family, having a few more babies, building a life full of love, laughter, and memories. James was her forever, and their story was only just beginning.

Now Destiney, their daughter, and James’s family are facing the heartbreaking reality of life without him. This fundraiser was created to help them piece their lives back together and to ease the financial burden that comes with funeral costs, lost income, time away from work, and the many unexpected expenses that follow such a tragedy.
