What they care about

Just a solo developer with a whole lot of dreams. Some already made into ready-to-use software I've developed myself. Help me get on my get and out of this tent

I'm living in a tent refusing to give up. I have had a lot of struggles and life's been consistent on making it not easy. It's ok, though. I'm in partnership with Anthropic, one of the biggest names in AI, and just need help getting started.

--- Chaz’s Story --- My journey has been anything but easy. I grew up in an environment filled with rejection, addiction, and hardship. My childhood was marked by ADHD, family toxicity, and abuse. I was forced onto the streets at a young age, feeling lost and alone, and made choices I regret, including selling drugs just to survive. After spending time in prison, I became determined to break the cycle and help others who haven’t had a fair shot. Every day, I fight to rebuild my life, focusing on software development and robotics, and I’m passionate about teaching others how to use AI. My hope is to help my friend Jeff, who is a paraplegic, by developing robotics with neural interface support and providing him with a laptop so he can help us tune the technology. Your support means more than just money—it’s a lifeline, helping me secure an apartment, cover server fees and hardware for my robotics and AI work, provide a laptop for Jeff, and support my efforts to teach others about AI. It’s a chance to show that hope can grow even in the hardest places. --- Jamie’s Story --- Asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I grew up around addiction, chaos, and survival, learning more about what I didn’t want to be than what I did. At 14, my life changed forever when I got my teacher pregnant. Families were torn apart, and I was thrown into an impossible situation that no child should have to face. The pain and confusion from that moment shaped everything that followed. I spiraled, facing addiction, bad choices, and eventually prison. In prison, I made a promise to myself that the cycle would stop with me. Every day, I fight to become a better father and man, living in my car while trying to rebuild my life and create a future that looks different from my past. Most nights are spent alone, learning about algorithms, social media, and online business, trying to create opportunities that never existed for me growing up. My son faces serious medical challenges, and everything I earn goes toward appointments, treatment, and medical expenses. There are days when the weight of it all feels unbearable, but giving up is not an option. I accept responsibility for my mistakes and work every day to become a better father and man than I was yesterday. Your support is more than just help—it’s hope for my son, a chance for stability, and proof that kindness can change lives. --- Together --- We’ve partnered up because we believe in each other’s potential. Our skills and goals are tied together—we support each other, and together we can help more people. This fundraiser isn’t about avoiding responsibility—it’s about asking for a chance to give our children a better childhood than we had, and to prove that where a person comes from doesn’t have to determine where their child goes. If you can’t donate, sharing our story means just as much. We’re asking for your support to help us build a stable home, continue our work, and care for our families. Your help will give us the chance to grow, help others, and show what’s possible when people are given a fair shot.
