My name is Emmy Jo, or as mom called me, her Angel. I am asking for help after the unexpected loss of my mom. This has been an incredibly painful and overwhelming time, and I am trying to navigate not only the grief of losing her, but also the many responsibilities that come after a sudden passing. Anyone who knew my mom knew how genuine and kind she was. She was always willing to help anyone the best she could, whenever she could, and her love and generosity meant so much to so many people. Right now, I am raising funds to help cover the expenses that have come with her passing. Donations will help with memorial expenses, the cost of keeping her apartment for one more month so we have time to clean it out, urn expenses after cremation, and any outstanding debts she may have left behind.
