Emily Tack

My name is Emily, and I am raising funds for my friend Dustin who is struggling with homelessness as well as a chronic health condition. I first met Dustin 5 years ago, and he is one of the kindest people I have ever met. He loves his 2 huskies, Nanook and Shiva, more than anything in the world. Unfortunately, he moved across the country to Iowa a few years back to seek help from family, but when he got there, they turned him away. This past week, Dustin checked himself into the hospital because of severe illness exacerbated by his chronic health condition, an inguinal hernia. He had no choice but to leave his dogs and all of his belongings in his tent. Unfortunately, while he was gone, someone came into his tent and stole his generator, heater, and all of his propane. As we all know, it is winter and the weather is not safe to be in, particularly at night without heat. All funds will go directly to Dustin to help him recoup losses, feed himself and his dogs, buy more warm clothing, and hopefully get a surgery he desperately needs.
