I am only sharing this with friends and family so you should already know who I am but I want to share about what's been happening in my life for the past two years. In 2024 I suffered painful gallbladder attacks so they decided to remove it. About two weeks later I developed two umbilical hernias. I have been suffering with them for a couple years now and have been attempting to lose weight so my surgeon would fix them. Well, I've lost over 70lbs now with only a few more to go to hit my surgery goal weight. I am so happy but what this means for me is I will be incapacitated while I heal for at least 3months. My job has been giving me a hard time because I've been very sick on the weight loss medicine and the pain from the hernias. While they can't fire me legally they have made my life a lot harder. Its become and unpleasant environment to work at and I am currently looking for a work from home position. Constantly feeling sick on this medication has left me bedridden most days. I haven't been able to lift more than 5lbs and I feel like this has really hindered me from being able to cuddle my kids properly. I am so looking forward to being able to be more present with my kids again. I see the light at the end of the tunnel now I just need help getting there. My family has been an amazing support for me and the kids but I feel like such a burden to them right now. My parents have both retired now and should be able to enjoy this time instead of constantly worrying about me. What I need help with is recreating my savings safety net and paying my expenses while I am recovering. Unfortunately, being disabled has drained all of my savings and put me massively into debt and it doesn't help that the cost of everything continues to rise. If you have any spare funds to donate I would appreciate it so much. I need to save about 3months of expenses rent, groceries etc. by July.

This is Scar. My elderly neighbor can no longer take care of her properly and Scar is suffering and in need of medical care. She has two teeth that need pulling and an abscess. She seems to be in pain. She also has an eye infection she is currently being treated for. The vet said her care would cost about $2000. I want to take her to get pain meds and antibiotics right away. I am currently looking for any cat rescues or fosters that can take over care of Scar because I am a single mom with 4 cats, 2 dogs and 3 kids so I just cant take on the expense myself. I cant stand thinking of Scar in pain. If you can help in any way please reach out.
