In questo momento le attrezzature necessarie per triplicare i posti letto di terapia intensiva e subintensiva sono:  - Ventilatori - Dispositivi di ventilazione non invasiva - Monitoraggio emodinamico - Monitor  Anche una piccola donazione può fare la differenza. Siamo in stretto contatto con i medici dell'ospedale San Raffaele di Milano. Thank you for taking the time and reading this campaign. I co-wrote this short movie inspired by the story of my friend Cristina Belenchia, who is now a Star dancing somewhere out there in the Universe.  Cristina was an incredible beautiful strong Woman who fought breast cancer first and leukemia after with the strength and the spirit of a Lioness. During the second part of her Leukemia treatments, Cristina started a beautiful blog called "My Pink Chemo" where she premised to be feminine and frivolous (pink) and to give helpful tips to other girls in her same situation.   At the same time the blog became for her a way to open up, to fearlessly share her thoughts, feelings and dreams. An introspective journey exploring the boundaries between life and death, friendship and time, lack of daily routines and pleasures, the blog is-was-will be always a great inspiration for any reader.  Personally, I felt the need to make this deep emotional journey a short movie that could carry Cristina's message in the pink way that was so dear to her. I am proud to have in my team her amazing and intrepid father Ermete, and Davide, her best friend in NY. Both were a major help to understand and discover in depth Cristina's world. We ask now for your help to fund this project and the expenses involved in the production, post production and festival's submission of this beautiful pink movie.  We are planning to shoot the short towards the end of March, in Los Angeles. I wanted to thank you all from the depth of my heart for your help and it would be a pleasure to add your name in the end credits of the movie if you like. Also if I will raise more money than necessary I would love to donate the rest to the "Gesundheit! Institute" where children are treated everyday by Patch Adams and his wonderful team. It is my personal dream since I had the fortune to take a portrait of him. The hardest war a person can fight is the one that happens inside themselves. For over twenty years, I’ve lived with eating disorders—anorexia, bulimia, dysmorphia—hidden behind perfectionism and the belief that I could handle it alone. When I finally began speaking to others, I discovered something overwhelming: I wasn’t alone at all. So many people live this same hidden battle, quietly, every day. 
 
 
 This is why I started a documentary called 'Stop the Self Destructive War.' It’s not just about illness—it’s about courage, the journey to recovery, and the power of community. Through this project, I’ve met incredible athletes, teenagers, adults, parents, and professionals who are fighting the same demons I’ve known since I was a teenager. Their stories deserve to be heard. Their voices deserve space. Together, we can create something that supports both individuals and the associations working tirelessly on the front lines. 
 
 
 But to make this possible, I need your help.
