Help me build a system that helps people help each other. It's a wish-making engine that allows people in community to connect with each other and collaborate through their wishes. With your help i can stay independent and do what I do without disruption. Every little help counts and it means a lot to me. A cup of coffee maybe for someone who wants to build something that brings independence to people. I spent most of my life bringing people together, and now i am doing this to enable self sustainable communities, churches, neighborhoods. I’m starting this fundraiser because after spending the last year building Social Function, I’ve reached the end of my runway and need support to help launch it properly. I’ve put my time, energy, and savings into bringing this idea to life because I believe technology can serve people in a more practical, grounded, and human way. Social Function is an AI-assisted coordination platform designed to help people collaborate, exchange help locally, and support one another more easily. People can share a wish, need, offer, or skill in a simple but meaningful format, and the system helps route that through their communities, neighbors, and local groups. The goal is to help communities meet more needs from within, build trust over time, and keep more value circulating locally. What matters to me is not just using AI, but using it in the right direction. Most technology today is built around attention and endless distraction. Social Function is built around usefulness. It gives people one place to clearly express what they need, what they can offer, and what they’re trying to make happen, so others can help and participate. Over the past year, I’ve built both mobile apps and a web app for Social Function from the ground up. I’m now raising funds to help cover infrastructure, early operations, and my basic cost of living so I can continue focusing fully on this work and bring it into real communities without having to bend it too early around outside pressure. I believe many of the difficulties people face today are made worse by disconnection from the people around us. Our communities already hold so much untapped value: talents, services, products, skills, and generosity that often go unseen. Too often, we look outward before realizing that what we need may already exist nearby. Social Function is my attempt to help reveal that hidden potential, so people can simply make a wish and let their community respond. If this speaks to you, I’d be deeply grateful for your support.
