We have had so many people who have helped us and reached out or donated to us in our community work and family and friends and we kind of just wanted to share what exactly happened. Our daughter woke up at 11:15 complaining that her leg hurt and saying that she smelled a weird smell and when Kyle went out to our laundry room it was completely engulfed in flames. We tried to put it out with fire extinguishers but it didn’t help at all and by the time we got our kids outside the whole side of the house was on fire. We ran out with no shoes knowing if it had even been a minute later we would not have made it out. Kyle went back in to save my 120 pound old English bulldog Thor who is too scared to move in our kitchen. That dog is like a child two of us and when I told him he had to leave him because he couldn’t go back in he wouldn’t come back out he went anyway. He will always be my hero for doing what he did. He had alot of inhalation from the smoke and his hands and feet were swollen from the heat of the fire but he saved our big baby. Once we were outside a few minutes later our propane tanks that were on the side of the patio exploded they were right over where the fire began. thankfully we were outside by then but as we waited for the fire department and fire trucks to get to our house Kyle and our three girls had and I had to watch our home, everything we owned burn to the ground while we all just were screaming and crying. we lost almost everything and the emotional toll has taken on the kids as well as ourselves has been absolutely devastating . Because of all of you we have been able to have them to have all the basic items and school supplies lunchboxes and clothes to go back to school and a lot of the little household things you’ve never imagine you needed or fathom how much it costs to replace. this week we are both going to have to go without a paycheck from where we had to miss work all last week just trying to think about finding somewhere to live after all this hasn’t been been just wanting to keep our girls and ourselves as much as of a routine in school as we can. We have already received so much money you’re so thankful for everything and as we keep trying to move forward and donations or anything that anyone could help with would be so appreciated. Thank you to everyone stay safe and have a blessed nigh
Its been an emotional roller coaster this past week. So much sadness but so much hope for the future. The amount of support and prayers we have received has surpassed so much we ever thought it would. As the week went on it’s absolutely incredible all the little things you never think about having to replace. Paying off all the regular bills while trying to plan for this following week without a paycheck is stressful. We couldn’t have done it without all the love and kindness our community and family has shown us. From the bottom of our hearts thank you and God bless
We just want to express our gratitude for everyone who has donated and helped our family. We are trying to find a new home as soon as possible while trying to make our daughters feel as safe as we can. It’s taking a toll on everyone but every person who has helped is making such a huge difference. As we look for a new place to call home, any donations would mean the world to us so we can start healing in a space that we can once again call home ❤️ we are so blessed to be temporarily staying with a dear friend. Thank you to all of you this is the fist time since the fire they were smiling and laughing
Last night, we had a house fire, and we lost almost everything. I am starting this fundraiser for my household as we try to take in what happened and figure out how to move forward after losing so much so suddenly. Right now, my kids are especially worried about leaving the home and schools they love. In the middle of this loss, I am trying to hold everything together for my family while also facing the very real pressure of getting everything sorted out and trying not to lose our jobs. The support from this fundraiser will help us begin rebuilding our lives with the most basic essentials and give us a starting point as we look for a new home. This is just the beginning of a long road for us, and any help would make a real difference as we try to get back on our feet. If you are able to donate or share this fundraiser, thank you for standing with us during this incredibly difficult time.
