My name is Daniel, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family during an incredibly difficult time. Recently, I suffered a sudden syncope and collapse, which resulted in a concussion and a series of ongoing medical challenges. Since then, I’ve undergone multiple tests—MRIs, heart monitor studies, CAT scans, and several visits to the ER—as doctors work to identify the root cause of my condition. The uncertainty has been overwhelming, and the medical bills and mortgage payments are piling up faster than we can manage.

 Right now, I am unable to work, and while I’m grateful that my job is protected through unpaid FMLA, I won’t be able to return safely until February. Unfortunately, government assistance in Connecticut has all but dried up, leaving us to navigate these mounting expenses on our own. We are doing our best to get by, but the fear of having to sell our home just to survive is becoming very real.

 I have always tried to help others in need, never imagining that my family and I would one day need to ask for help ourselves. We are searching for hope and a bit of light at the end of this tunnel, and we are truly grateful for any support—no matter how small—that anyone can offer.
