Apollo’s story I am organizing this fundraiser for my friend Tracy and her sweet three-legged dog, Apollo. Tracy is one of the most kind and caring people I know, and seeing Apollo go through this has been absolutely heartbreaking for her. A few weeks ago, Apollo faced a sudden, life-altering medical crisis, and the only way to save his life was to amputate one of his legs. Watching him take those first brave, unsteady steps on three legs tore our hearts open, but seeing his tail wag through it all reminded us just how unbreakable Apollo’s spirit truly is. He has not given up for a single second, and Tracy is doing everything she can to help him keep moving forward. Apollo is officially on the road to recovery, but the urgency of his ongoing care is very real, and he still needs help to reach the finish line. To stay comfortable, heal properly, and live free of pain, Apollo needs critical ongoing medications and post-operative care. These funds will help cover the care he needs now and support his chance at a long, joyful, pain-free life. More than anything, I want to help ease some of the burden Tracy is carrying during this incredibly difficult time.
