 I am fundraising for my father, <strong>Omar Patino</strong>, after the recent earthquake in Colombia turned his life upside down. Omar lost many of his belongings, and the childhood home that has been in our family for generations was heavily damaged. This was the home he dreamed of returning to after working hard in America so he could retire peacefully in Colombia, and that plan was shattered by this unforeseen disaster.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 My father is one of the hardest-working, kindest, and most compassionate people I know, and this has impacted him deeply. Beyond the physical damage and financial loss, the earthquake has also taken a serious mental and physical toll on him during an incredibly difficult moment in his life.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 The funds raised will help Omar with the immediate basics he needs to get through this crisis, including <strong>shelter, food, water, and essential supplies</strong>. Support will also help him begin the rebuilding process so he can start putting his life back together and work toward restoring the home that means so much to him and our family.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
 If you are able to give, any amount would mean so much to my father and our family. If you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser would also make a real difference. Thank you for helping Omar through his greatest time of need.
</div>

Helping Omar Recover After Earthquake

<div>I am reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit to ask for your support for my goddaughter, Anna Somers—the beloved daughter of my best friends, Millie and Joseph.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anna, lovingly known as “Anna Banana,” is a bright, beautiful 5-year-old.
</div>
<div>But she has been diagnosed with Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD), a rare, progressive, and devastating genetic disease that is changing her world far too soon.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>MLD attacks the brain and nervous system, gradually taking away a child’s ability to walk, speak, eat, and eventually breathe independently. And we are already seeing that loss. Watching these pieces of her slowly slip away is truly heartbreaking.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This disease does not wait—and neither can we.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every day matters. Every moment matters.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As if this heartbreak wasn’t enough, the family has recently received even more devastating news—Joey has also been diagnosed with MLD.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But there is a window of hope: Joey is eligible to receive treatment. This gives us something to hold onto, something to fight for with everything we have. But with that hope comes urgency, complex medical needs, and overwhelming financial strain.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This family is now facing the unimaginable—caring for Anna through her journey while racing against time to get Joey the treatment he needs as quickly as possible. They are doing everything they can, but they cannot do this alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Despite everything, Anna continues to shine with incredible strength. Her presence, her spirit, and her light still touch everyone around her. And Joey deserves every chance at a healthier future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The emotional toll is indescribable, and the financial burden is more than any family should have to carry alone. Every dollar raised through this GoFundMe will go directly toward Anna and Joey’s care and supporting their family through this incredibly difficult journey.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Donations will help cover the immense medical costs associated with MLD, including hospital stays, specialist visits, therapies, medications, and essential equipment not fully covered by insurance. Funds will also support urgent travel and lodging, as accessing MLD specialists often requires long-distance care.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your generosity will help provide comfort and the best possible quality of life for Anna through physical, occupational, speech, and palliative therapies. It will also help give Joey the chance he deserves by supporting his treatment journey. Donations will also go toward adaptive equipment, home modifications, and in-home nursing care so both children can be safe, comfortable, and surrounded by love.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>MLD affects every aspect of daily life. Your support will also help ease the burden of everyday and unexpected expenses when work is missed, routines are disrupted, and every moment is focused on caring for Anna and Joey.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>By giving, you are helping preserve moments of joy—moments where Anna can still feel love, comfort, and connection. You are also helping give Joey a fighting chance at a healthier future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Most importantly, you are lifting an unimaginable weight from this family and allowing them to focus on what matters most: loving their children with their whole hearts, every single day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your generosity, your prayers, and your support. Please continue to share this page so we can reach as many people as possible.</em>

</div>

<div>August 14,1968- May 31, 2025

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>With heavy hearts, we share the devastating news of the passing of Anthony Wayne Freitas III on May 31, 2025. Anthony was a beloved son to Charlotte and Bob Morgan, a devoted husband to Vanna, and an extraordinary father to his pride and joy, Anthony Jr.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Anthony’s vibrant spirit touched everyone he met. His passion for life was evident in the love he poured into raising his son, his fascination with trucks and motorcycles, and the bond he shared with his loyal dog, Odin—now reunited with him in heaven.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This tragic loss has left the Freitas family heartbroken and in need of support. As they navigate this unimaginable time, contributions toward funeral expenses and securing a stable future for Vanna and Anthony Jr. would be deeply appreciated.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Let us honor Anthony’s memory by coming together as a community to uplift those he loved most. Any support, whether through donations or kind words, means more than words can express.

</div>

<div>Anthony will be remembered for his big heart, his laughter, and the unconditional love he had for his family.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Details on celebration of life to follow.

</div>

In Memory of Anthony Freitas III

<div>A staple of our community is tragically no longer with us. Mario Polito, of Tony's Beechurst Deli, has touched the hearts of so many of us, including our children. He welcomed all and looked after our children with open arms, as his place of business has been their neighborhood spot along with so many of ours.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mario will forever be remembered for his loving heart and devotion to the love of his life Tania, his family, friends, and the community. Let us join together as a community and give back in his honor to the light of his life, his daughter Gianna Marie, and her future.

My name is Steven Tantalos, I am the cousin of Gabriel Cordero. Gabriel and his wife Krisja are the closest people to me in my life. A few days ago on June 9th, my cousin and his family received news that any parent never thought they would hear. Their two year old son Hunter Cordero was diagnosed with Leukemia. Gabriel and Krisja have three children, Gabriel III (5 years old), Blake (1 years old) and Hunter their Warrior (2 years old). Raising this money would be a great support system for this beautiful family and help them stay afloat during this difficult time. Each have an amazing support system with two large families and many friends. We all love them so much and raising this money would be of great appreciation and gratitude.

<p><span style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;">When the neurotic Devil himself shows up in New York City on assignment nothing good can come from it. <p><span style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;">Inspired by outrageous comedy films of the 80s and 90s, director Geordy Skolnick sets out to bring a very particular brand of comedy that is both familiar to viewers and yet as a modern as a TikTok dance challenge.  </span>

Horny - A Devilish Dark Comedy Short Film

Hi everyone, here is Isabella's story.....Isabella, was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma on June 12, 2015 when she was 21 months old. She had no symptoms at all so this came as an unbelievable shock to her parents, sisters, Sophia 10 and Alexa 6, and everyone that knows her. Life has changed dramatically ever since but sweet Bella has continued to fight with a smile. A majority of time is spent in the hospital or doctor's office. Her amazing spirit has given us all the strength to fight along side her. She is undergoing intensive treatment for at least a year consisting of chemo, surgery, radiation, a stem cell transplant and antibody therapy. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to share her journey and hope that she will inspire others as she has inspired us.<br /><br />This has been  hard story to tell and even harder to live.<br />We appreciate any prayers, well wishes, support or donations for this journey.<br />To be continued......<br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/5859844_1441150928.0698_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/5859844_1441150991.5243_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/5859844_1441151030.4838_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" />

Michelle Nardilla Cross is my beautiful and amazing <br />33 year old niece.  The daughter of Robert and Marianne Nardilla, and sister of Amanda and Lisa, and wife of Damian Cross. As a lot of you know, this past January,  Michelle was diagnosed with a 4 cm tumor in the core of her brain. Glioblastoma Stage 4. It is an inoperable tumor because of its location.  For the past 7 months,  Michelle has been enduring  radiation and<br />chemotherapy.  She has lost her hair, having some<br />memory loss, does not have use of her left arm<br />or hand, and weakness in her left leg.<br /> <br /> She is unable to  enjoy the simple things of life that we all take for granted. She cannot work, drive, climb stairs, cook or clean or even dress herself.<br /><br />I am asking for all your help and contributions so<br />that we can relieve some of the financial burdens<br />that have occured. Co-pays,  a daily aide to help <br />Michelle shower and get dressed, experimental<br />therapy ( all of which is not covered by insurance).<br /><br />Her positive attitude,  sense of humor, and the love<br />and support of her family and friends is what keeps<br />Michelle fighting,  She will win this battle!!!!<br /><br />Please help however you can.  Any donation will be<br />greatly appreciated.
