My daughter grew up without a home, without the atmosphere of home and family, without toys like the rest of the children in the world. She grew up in fear and hunger. She was one year and three months old at the beginning of the war on Gaza and with the rise in the prices of diapers and milk. I tried to get her everything she needed, but because of the fear, bombing and displacement, we were unable to do so, and we are still suffering from the same situation until now, unfortunately.

And exactly when the year was over, the war started and the place of income was closed, and when Khan Yunis was invaded, it was completely destroyed and also turned into ashes and our life became like hell, but we tried to live for the sake of our innocent child

<div>My name is Moriah and I’m setting this go fund me up upon the request of my sister Mackenzie. She has two beautiful pups Miss Bella and Mr Boots. We have recently confirmed that her soul dog miss Bella has skin cancer. Although this breaks our hearts we have high hopes that if we have the two cancerous bumps removed that it will have been caught in time before it spreads to other parts of her body. The doctor confirmed that because we were so proactive about getting them tested that this is a realistic possibility. Bella is a happy and otherwise healthy 12 year old dog and this procedure will give us a couple more years with the dog that my sisters heart has forever bonded with. The procedure is going to be $2,500 and we wanted to reach out to our friends and loved ones to see if anyone finds it in their heart to chip in on saving miss Bella life and prevent her from going through the tragedy of the cancer progressing and spreading.

<br /><br />Dear Friends &amp; Family, <br /> <br /> <br />I am starting this <strong>GoFundMe </strong>campaign in honor of my amazing son <strong>Cody Deering</strong>.   For any of you that may not know, he was in a motorcycle accident Monday night, 9/16.  <br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/42423888_157045882439079_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="42423888_157045882439079_r.jpeg" /><br />
<div> While riding to his girlfriend’s house after work he was cut off by a pickup truck in the left lane. He went over the handle bars, flew through the air and was able to push himself off the truck tailgate before his body went careening down the asphalt. First responders got him to Duke University Hospital quickly, and he was extremely lucky, in the scheme of things, to have only received minor injuries.  Those included a broken foot, road rash down his left side, and a puncture wound about the size of a dime on his right ankle.  The doctors discovered that the puncture was communicating with the joint and decided that surgery on his ankle to remove any dirt or foreign substance would be the best course of action.  All went well.  Cody was released and returned home with his Dad and me to recover.  He was improving every day.  His mobility had increased and we were even able to take him to the eye doctor on Saturday 9/28.<br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/42423888_1570458992307136_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="42423888_1570458992307136_r.jpeg" /> <br />The next morning, a full two weeks after the accident I went to work for a few hours and came home to find Cody lying on his bedroom floor pale and hardly breathing.  He got out of bed and passed out face first on the floor.  He was able to get himself up only to pass out and fall again. He lay there on the floor for hours until I got home.  He was rushed to Moore Regional Hospital where they took him immediately for a CT scan and found that he was suffering from an acute massive pulmonary embolism.  The emergency department doctor at Moore Regional Hospital described it as blood clots everywhere!  His heart and lungs were full of them. They don’t know how he was able to survive!<br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/42423888_1570459478146090_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="42423888_1570459478146090_r.jpeg" /><br />Cody was treated in the ICU with a medication called TPA (breaks up blood clots) and blood thinners (new clots don’t form) so that the blockages in his heart and lungs would clear. Unfortunately, the TPA did not do enough and early on Tuesday morning he had to be Life Flighted to Duke Raleigh for additional treatment. The doctors believe that the clots were caused by a combination of the trauma to his body in the motorcycle accident and his limited mobility after his surgery and release from the hospital.  They say it will take at least three months for his body to resorb the blood clots that remain and that there are two sections in one of his lungs that were deprived of oxygen and are damaged. They hope the damage will repair itself over time. Although he is out of the woods, and we are no longer at risk of losing him, this fight is not over.  I'm sure you all understand that this has been an incredibly traumatic experience and continues to be a battle for Cody.  <br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/42423888_1570459617876946_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="42423888_1570459617876946_r.jpeg" /><br /> As you all know, Cody is one of the most loyal, funny and goodhearted guys you'll ever meet. Those of you who know him would not be surprised to hear that even in the first moments after his accident he was making jokes in the emergency room.   He was calm, brave and level-headed the entire time.  As terrifying as the past weeks have been, Cody’s sense of humor, bravery and strength through this awful trial haven’t wavered.  He began cutting up with his nurse just after he got off the helicopter.  It was so great to hear him being positive and making others laugh even at his lowest points. <br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/42423888_1570459662308472_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="42423888_1570459662308472_r.jpeg" /> <br />Being a chef, Cody works in an industry that for the most part does not provide medical insurance to its’ staff, nor do they receive high enough wages to afford it on their own.   He is also out of work indefinitely due to his accident and following health crisis.   This means that he is now facing severe financial hardship.
