After three years of homelessness, I finally have a place to call home. During those years, I lost everything—my clothes, my phone, even my bike. Living in a tent, I felt too embarrassed to invite my family for Christmas, and I haven’t celebrated the holidays with them in so long. I’m disabled, and life has been a daily struggle, but a caring person recently welcomed me in and told me, 'Anita, this is your home now.'

 Now that I have a roof over my head, I want nothing more than to spend Christmas with my family and show them how much I love them. But I have nothing nice to wear, and after living in the woods for so long, I feel like I’ve lost a part of myself. I don’t have the means to buy a dinner to cook for my family, or to give gifts to those who have helped me along the way. I want to make this Christmas special—not just for myself, but for everyone who has supported me, and even for the homeless friends I met during my journey. Even those who took from me were just trying to survive, and I believe everyone deserves another chance.

 This year, I hope for a Christmas miracle. I want to say, 'I’m home for Christmas,' and share hugs, love, and hope with everyone who needs it. I want to give back, to show kindness, and to remind others that they’re not alone. If you can help, your support will mean the world to me and to so many others who need a blessing and a glimmer of hope. Merry Christmas to all, and Happy Birthday, Jesus Christ. Thank you for helping me make this the best Christmas ever.
