I am reaching out because my three kids and I are currently homeless, and I am doing everything I can to provide for them. Right now, I don’t have a job, and it’s been a struggle to meet even our most basic needs. Having my kids with me is a blessing, but it’s also a huge responsibility, and I want to give them the stability and care they deserve.
The past five years have been especially hard. There have been moments when I felt like giving up, but every evening, when I see my kids and we’re together—no matter where we’re staying for the night—I remember why I keep going. My kids are my strength and my reason to keep pushing forward, even when things feel impossible.
The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward food, clothing, and helping us get a dependable vehicle. I recently got my permit and am working hard to get my driver’s license, but I need to pay for another road test appointment because I missed the first two. A vehicle would make a world of difference for us—it would help me search for housing, fill out applications, and open up more job opportunities. Most importantly, it would allow me to commute to work and give my kids a better chance at stability.
Your help will be deeply appreciated. I was taught that when we receive blessings, we should also pass them forward, and I do my best to help others whenever I can. I’ve taught my kids to do the same. Your support could be the beginning of positive changes for me, my two teenage kids, and my youngest daughter, who will turn 3 this December. Thank you for considering helping us on our journey to a better life.
