<div>My husband has to connect himself to dialysis every four hours just to stay alive. Day and night.
</div>
<div>That is our normal now.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Carla. I live in southern Italy with my husband, Seba, and our four-year-old son, Luca.
</div>
<div>Seba has stage 5 sclerosing glomerulonephritis, a progressive kidney disease. While he waits for a kidney transplant, he depends on peritoneal dialysis day and night. Every four hours, another treatment. Every day revolves around keeping him alive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He cannot work anymore.
</div>
<div>That means our family's survival depends on my income alone.
</div>
<div>I recently had to leave my job because the working conditions were seriously affecting my mental health. I live with depression and anxiety, and after months of trying to push through, I reached a point where continuing simply wasn't possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now I'm searching for another job every day. Until then, life doesn't stop. Rent, gas, electricity, food, water- it's all the same as it was before the heart attack, before the dialysis.
</div>
<div>Our son still needs stability, school, and a home where he feels safe while his father fights to stay alive.
</div>
<div>We are asking for time. We believe in miracles, yes we do. But the most we need now is time.
</div>
<div>Time for me to finish my Data Analytics certification, rebuild my freelance career, and find stable remote work that allows me to care for Seba, for Luca, while supporting our family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation helps us protect the small stability we still have.
</div>
<div>€25 helps put food on our table.
</div>
<div>€50 helps pay for utilities that keep our home running.
</div>
<div>€55 runs the gas.
</div>
<div>€150 pays the electricity.
</div>
<div>€350 covers one month of rent.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>These numbers that seem abstract are another month together as a family without wondering which bill we will have to leave unpaid.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One of the hardest parts of this four-hour journey has been accepting that we cannot do it alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Asking for help has never come naturally to us, and I think to no one. But sometimes the strongest thing a family can do is admit they need a hand.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>If you can donate, thank you.</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>If you can't, sharing our story with others means more than you know.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every act of kindness gives us a little more time, a little more hope, and one more chance to keep our family together while we wait for the phone call that could save Seba's life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for reading our story.
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/89244171_1780351277411216_r.jpg" width="100%" />

Help us keep Seba safe while waiting for a transplant

<p>Many of you have heard of the horrific tragedy that took place at Devil's Den State Park in Arkansas yesterday. During an outing with his family, Clinton Brink, the son of my dear cousin Kari, and his wife Cristen, were taken from us. He was a son, a brother, a nephew, an uncle, a cousin, a loving husband to Cristen Brink, and an amazing father. Clinton and Cristen were loving parents to their two precious daughters. Devoted to one another, devoted to their girls, and devoted to God. Their lives were stolen senslessly and cruelly. We want this individual caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. He robbed these precious girls of their mom and dad, a mother of her son, a mother and father of their daughters. We are kindly asking if you can to please help us raise funds to lay Clinton and Cristen to rest and to help these two little girls with whatever they may need. Whatever you can donate will be greatly appreciated by Clinton and Cristen's's entire family as we navigate the grief, devastation, and shock of this tragedy. Our hearts are broken, and lives forever changed. With grateful hearts, we want to thank you for your continued support as we navigate this new reality.

To help raise funds to lay Clinton and Cristen to rest

<div>My name is Antoine Hardin and I am reaching out for help to restructure my mother's home. Over the years the weather has done the home bad. The roof is caving in and the side of the house is buckling in. The chimney fell into the house because Bloomfield Baptist Church would not cut the trees from her house from the property they own next to her house. When they decided to cut the trees from the roof the damage was done. Then they decided not to fix the roof. My mom is 81 years of age. The insurance company she had on the house went out of business ( Thornton Insurance Agency ) after they beat her out of Thousands of dollars. Habitat for Humanity would not help her. They came out and said thanks for entertaining them, this was the aging in place program. We called the Congressman Steve Cohens office and they are tired of Habitat doing people like that. The house is 105 years old and she needs help. Please, someone help my mother. She is in bad health and I am trying to make her last days as easy as possible. My mother has worked hard and for the community she has fed the homeless Plus taking care of my paralyzed brother for 25 years, and she helped put me through college help me not to give up on my dreams. I just need help in giving back to her and showing her how much I love her and appreciate her she has battle with cancer while taking care of my brother. She cannot speak well but she can text pretty good. She has a feeding tube now that she is dealing with because her throat closed up from the cancer. The pain that I see going through her eyes everyday is eating at my soul because I can't help her the way I want to. So that is why I'm asking the community to help my mother rebuild her roof and inside of her home.

Help Repair Antoine's Mom's Collapsing Home

<div>On April 10, 2024 my 4yr old nephew was admitted to the hospital due to strep throat that went septic. Unfortunately, the infection entered his bloodstream and cause him to go into cardiac arrest. The doctors informed us on Thursday April 11, 2024 that they had done all they could do and Cartier was what they call heart dead. But by the grace of God and many prayers Cartiers heart began to beat again after 14+ hours. The doctors advised that for medical or scientific reason they could not explain he was back. We are over joyed to have Cartier still with us. The road to recovery is going to be long so we are asking for help as his parents are not able to work while Cartier is still hospitalized. We appreciate any assistance and prayers during this difficult time.

Help with after care for Cartier

<div>It’s with an incredibly heavy heart that I write this. As you all know, last night, 4/27, an absolutely devastating tornado wreaked havoc in Holdenville. As a result of this tragedy, my good friends family, the Skeens, suffered a heartbreaking loss. Agustin’s sister and brother-in-law lived in the path of destruction and the storm tragically took the life of their only 4 month old child. On top of losing a child, they lost their house (which was picked up and thrown 200 yards with them in it), two vehicles, and everything they owned. Words can’t express the immense loss this family has suffered. If you can find it in your heart to help this family as they mourn their child and try to rebuild, whether it’s financial or with prayer, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The Skeen Family

<div>Hi everyone,
</div>
<div>This is Kendal and Alexa. You may know us as Keri's two daughters-Alexa the pilot and Kendal the baker. Many of you would describe our mom as the sweetest, kindest, humblest, and most selfless person you will ever get the pleasure to know. Unfortunately we did not get to know our grandmother, her mom Marilyn. But she is described as an angel on earth. She absolutely took after her in that way!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Apart from her kind demeanor and sweet smile, she is one badass lady. She has become a pillar in the women's biking community. There is not an hour that goes by where she was not talking, thinking or planning her next big adventure. Her calendar is booked solid with every moment centered around the next thrilling ride.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On the afternoon of Saturday February 17th, our world stood still. Our indestructible mom was injured in a way we would have never imagined. She was riding her bike through a very popular mountain biking trail near North Bend with 4 other ladies. Mom was in the middle of the train with 2 riders ahead and 2 riders behind her when she was tackled off her bike by a 75 lb cougar. The cougar latched onto her lower jaw. Her courageous friends quickly jumped to action to save her life as well as their own. Ultimately it was their quick thinking that saved her life. They spent the next 15 minutes trying to fight the animal off of her. Finally he released and the ladies were able to get the animal away from her and had to hold him down with a bike to keep him from continuing the attack. They held him down for about 30 minutes until officers arrived at the scene. Because of these heroic women, we still have our mom with us. We are forever grateful to them all.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As far as her injuries, she has experienced severe trauma to her face as well as permanent nerve damage. It will be a lifelong battle and a long road ahead to recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The funds of this page will go directly towards all expenses as a result of her injury. Bills, living expenses, and anything else she may need. Thank you so much for all the positive thoughts and prayers! Her mindset is positive and she hopes to get back on her bike one day soon!

Keri's Ride to Recovery

<div>Hello, my name is Natalie and I am starting this gofundme to help my brother Andrew:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m writing this on Tuesday, January 16th, but this all started on Friday, December 15th, 2023. Andrew was not feeling well and took himself to urgent care for what he thought was a common cold. He had a fever, extremely low blood pressure, and an abscess on his left bum check that was awfully painful. He was referred to the ER at St. Vincent’s hospital, and was admitted immediately for emergency surgery. At the end of the first surgery, Andrew was put into a medically induced coma. We learned that what seemed to be a sore on his bum cheek was actually a very bad infection, necrotizing fasciitis, or commonly called flesh-eating disease, coupled with undiagnosed type 2 diabetes. He remained in a coma in the ICU for the next 2 days while his body was septic. He was successfully brought out of the coma once the antibiotics started working and his fever reduced. Once his vitals stabilized enough for another surgery, they performed a second surgery to remove the last bits of the infection, put in an ostomy bag, and install a wound vac. The wound vac has helped immensely with healing the 10+ square inch section of skin and tissue that was removed from his left bum cheek. Over the last 31 days, his wound has been healing from the inside out and is continually getting smaller and smaller. Luckily, no muscle had to be removed so he should have full mobility once he is completely healed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While the prognosis on his wound has been fantastic for the size and location of the infection, Andrew has developed multiple complications along the way. He’s had a blood clot, a UTI, sprung 2 leaks in his wound leading to blood loss and an issue with part of his omentum dying off and trying to create an abscess. While navigating multiple rounds of heavy antibiotics, blood thinners, numerous finger pricks for the diabetes, he was starting to talk with hospital staff about discharge.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>However, as many of you know, a storm came through the Portland Metro area this past weekend which left Andrew’s house completely destroyed when a tree uprooted and fell on his house. This tree crashed through the middle of the house, blocking off access to the bedrooms and bathroom and his garage. His car is also totaled as it was parked in the garage. About a week prior to this storm, a branch from his neighbor’s tree had fallen on his car and broke his sunroof. On Saturday, January 13th, Andrew faced the reality that he now has no home to go home to. Luckily Andrew was in the hospital so he and his dog, Steeler were both safe and not in the house at the time the tree came down.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As anyone can imagine, this has been ridiculously difficult to acknowledge such a big loss while also trying to heal in the hospital. All He’s wanted the past 31 days is to go home and see his dog, and now he can’t. Along with some very major lifestyle changes, a portable wound vac machine and no home to go to, Andrew will be in a period of transition for a while. Claims have been made with insurance, but as with everything, he will have to wait to have his home rebuilt and car replaced. Andrew has also been out of work for this time period and isn’t sure when he will be able to return. He is looking at a very expensive hospital bill, continued medical bills and will most definitely have to front a lot of money to cover his bills and mortgage while waiting for insurance to eventually kick in and help with rebuilding costs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anyone who knows Andrew knows that he hasn’t had an easy life. He has successfully remained in remission from childhood Leukemia, and despite the lasting effects of chemotherapy and radiation, he has remained positive, hard working and resilient to what life has brought his way. Andrew is a kind soul despite a gruff exterior. Andrew is self-less, always offering help and support to others in anyway he can. But now Andrew needs the help and support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Additionally, Andrew and our family would like to thank everyone who has come to visit him, check on his house, text and call. All of your support is crucial to his recovery and is so very much appreciated.

Andrew's medical bills and housing

<div>Hello everyone.
</div>
<div>Im starting this fundraiser for my cousin Marcus. His family has just suffered a tremendous loss and im hoping to just alleviate a little financial burden in the wake of losing their little Shelby. I realize I'm partial here....but this family has just had to endure one gut punch after another. They lost their home and all of their belongings in a fire. Marcus has had multiple health complications that resulted in a heart transplant last September. And Now little Shelby has passed.
</div>
<div>I'm just hoping that we can all come together and help alleviate some of their stress right now so they can mourn and figure out what their new normal looks like.
</div>

Marcus Roling and Family

Hello everyone. My name is Mark.  As some of you know, I got the <b>Moderna covid vaccine</b> back in April and had a <b>horrible</b> reaction to it. I was hospitalized for almost a week and in the hospital on my birthday. They called in an infectious disease doctor while I was in the hospital and that's when they determined I had <b>vasculitis. </b>It's a terrible disorder that causes inflammation of the blood vessles. I literally had holes in my legs. It's been a terrible experience.
<div><br />
</div>
<div><img src="https://d2kw0licpa1moo.cloudfront.net/62605537_1642109776864218_updates.jpg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="62605537_1642109776864218_updates.jpg" /><br /><img src="https://d2kw0licpa1moo.cloudfront.net/62605537_1642109931106633_updates.jpg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="62605537_1642109931106633_updates.jpg" /><br /><img src="https://d2kw0licpa1moo.cloudfront.net/62605537_1642110431256609_updates.jpg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="62605537_1642110431256609_updates.jpg" /><br /><img src="https://d2kw0licpa1moo.cloudfront.net/62605537_1642117612847296_updates.jpg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="62605537_1642117612847296_updates.jpg" /><br />(These pictures are from April- August, early September). My legs have gotten much better but now it's moving down into my foot.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They are putting me on methotrexate to try and treat this. I get severe joint pain sometimes, it's awful. The next step is a shot called dupixant which my insurance does <b>not</b> cover. My legs have healed mostly but now it's moved into my foot. I cant wear regular shoes without extreme pain and because of all of this, I haven't been able to work. I'm not one to ask for help but I'm really in need of it right now and prayers they're always welcomed.  If you can help at all, I'd greatly appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. If you can't maybe just send me some prayers and share my story. What happened to me is very rare, and I just want to get back on my feet. God bless you all.

Help Mark get back on his feet

<div>Hi Everyone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Abby is a beautiful, smart, kind, and extremely talented young girl and has just lost her mother and father within a months time. My best friend Elsalee passed away August 7th, at 50 years old from Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Abby’s father, John Flynn, passed July 5th after suffering a massive hemorrhagic stroke at 49 years old. Abby just turned 16 years old and has had to cope with so much since she was a small child. She has been a compassionate and resilient young woman throughout all of this and has asked for nothing. Anything you can give to help Abby so that the next few years are as worry-free as possible would be a blessing for this child. We know so many of you jumped on the Hope Train for Elsalee and it was vital for this past year and a half. We need to keep riding that train and give hope to her daughter so that she can enter her young adulthood with some security. The funds will be managed by her guardian and used for living and education expenses. Please feel free to pass this page on and spread the word so that we can give Abby a solid future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>With Love and Hope,</strong>
</div>
<div><strong> </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>Team Abby</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>P.S. </strong>The funds will go into my savings account while the power of attorney/executor of the estate sets up a trust account for Abby. We just wanted to get this rolling right away.
</div>

Help and Hope for Abby

<div>One of our wonderful Animal Clinic of Perryton employees, Moni Simental, lost everything in the devastating tornado that hit her home in Perryton, TX on June 15th. She is such a blessing to us at the clinic and know so many of our clients (and pets!) love her just as much as we do! We are asking for donations and many, many prayers as she and her family take the next steps to rebuild everything they lost.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Moni and her husband have three kids - 8 year old girl, 6 year old boy, and 9 month old baby girl.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your donations and prayers. We appreciate you all.

Monica Simental and Family

<div>My name is Chariese. My aunt lost everything in a house fire including her husband. She also lost a son in the same house almost 6 months ago. Anything that you can help with would be greatly appreciated.
</div>

To say she lost everything is an understatement!

<div>This is Rosey and today I received the news that a dear friend of mine lost everything he owned in a tragic house fire that took the lives of 8 dogs and 7 cats.
</div>
<div>James was at work when the fire broke out this morning at 9:40 am in Trenton, NC, Jones County.
</div>
<div>Our mutual friend, Chantal Clarke and I wanted to start this fundraiser to help our friend and fellow animal lover. I have made Chantal Clarke the beneficiary so she will collect any donations and get them to James because our friend James is very proud and would never ask for any help from anyone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have known James since high school, back in Florida and we reconnected here in North Carolina many years later.
</div>
<div>James is a true animal lover and advocate and he had adopted 2 dogs from me over the years.
</div>
<div>Animals were his whole life and he spent countless hours training all the dogs in his care. James loves German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois breeds the most. The dogs knew commands in both English and German.
</div>
<div>He adopted Canin, a German Shepherd that I rescued from living life chained to a tree and severely neglected, back in 2015 and later in 2017 adopted a Malinois mix named Heidi from my nonprofit dog rescue, Roseys Rescue, located in Pender County, NC.
</div>
<div>Both of them perished in the fire along with 6 of his other dogs, Jericho, Ruby Rose, Jesse Jane, Bodhi, Ezekiel and Hector. 7 kitties also lost their lives in the fire.
</div>
<div>3 dogs survived, Vladimir, Roman and Gary.
</div>
<div>James is the sole provider for the animals and he and the surviving dogs are now homeless.
</div>
<div>James has lost the home he owned and all his belongings to this fire and he is devastated.
</div>
<div>He needs temporary housing and funding to help rebuild his home.
</div>
<div>The home was uninsured.
</div>
<div>The home is a 3-bedroom, 1-bath house on 1.06 acres of property built in 1985 and is valued at $129K.
</div>

Hi everyone, I am fundraising for my brother Mike and his fiancé Ari. Today they had a gas leak and shortly after their house exploded with them and everything in it. Their house is gone as well as everything they owned. They are being taken to a hospital down the mountain where they’re being treated for injuries. My parents are on their way there from Tennessee but we don’t have all the details. Please pray for Mike and Ari as they heal from their physical injuries as well as trying to figure out what is next for them. Please consider donating to them during this difficult time so they can focus on getting better. Thank you!
