Education
We arrive carrying everything that makes us who we are—our abilities, personality, creativity, innovation, and determination. A home away from home can become home when welcome is real. I learned to make home, Home, through the life-changing power of being welcomed. Today, I am honored to bring these stories into the spotlight. What once gave me a sense of belonging now fuels stability, opportunity, and growth—not only for me, but for others walking the same path. This mission exists to change the narrative: those who are welcomed become contributors, leaders, and builders of the future. Through these success stories, we uplift individuals and families once welcomed—now entrepreneurs, mentors, and welcomers themselves. We stand alongside those facing uncertainty, anchor our work in human dignity, and help families move toward hope, stability, and self-reliance. When you support this work, you are not just giving—you are building belonging, restoring dignity, and shaping futures. Together, we turn welcome into action—and compassion into lasting impact.

As a former Nakivale refugee, I understand the challenges children face when denied basic rights. At Shalom, Sayuni Nursery & Primary, I provide a safe, nurturing space where children can learn, grow, and thrive with hope for the future.
