<div>On July 17th, the Guidas family experienced every parent’s worst nightmare. Their precious daughter, Ava Guidas, was involved in a terrible side-by-side accident, leaving her with severe brain trauma.

<div>Ava was in critical condition and praise God, her recovery is going well! She is a fighter, and her strength is shining through. However, she still has a long road of rehabilitation ahead.

Philip recently relocated to Panama City from Chicago, IL for a fresh start and to spend time with his children and grandchildren here in Florida. He loved riding his motorcycle in the Florida sunshine and really got a kick out of our southern terminologies. I know some of you may not have gotten the chance to know him personally, but his children and family are well known and loved in our community. They always show up without hesitation when someone is in need, so let’s return the favor and show them our unwavering support and help ease the financial burden of final arrangements for Philip. <div>We're starting Round 2 of fundraising for the <strong>Robinson Family</strong>. If you know Stephanie Robinson, you know she is in the fight of her life as she is battling stage 4 metastatic cancer.

<div>While we pray for a miracle, we also believe that God uses people. With that said, Stephanie is receiving medical treatment from many gifted people within the medical community in Panama City, as well as in Houston at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since doctors have recently discovered a small brain lesion, along with some other progression in Stephanie's condition, her team has recommended that she participate in a medical trial. <strong>It can be difficult to qualify for such trials, and the window to do so is often narrow, so the Robinsons needed to make a swift decision. </strong>This trial is only available at MD Anderson in Houston, and all related treatment will need to take place there, so travel and stays will be more frequent, and therefore, more expensive.

<div>Here's the truth: <strong>This sort of diagnosis requires a family to make some pretty major adjustments in almost every aspect, but finances are one area where family and friends can help limit drastic changes to their way of life. </strong>

April 20, 2016<br /><br />Update on Marsha Massey:<br /><br />It’s hard to believe that Marsha is approaching 2 years since her diagnosis with melanoma, which sadly marks the 2-year anniversary of Philip’s passing.   Many of you have been following Marsha’s quarterly updates regarding her treatment.  It’s amazing how far she has come and what she has had to go through to reach a 2-year milestone.  After one failed treatment at MDA, a failed clinical trial qualification at NIH, 2 successful surgeries at Emory, the battle pushes on. She is now facing a new treatment plan which she will be receiving at Emory University for an additional nodule in her lung.<br /><br />Fortunately, for every day that passes, another lightyear has been marked in the world of cancer research.  For Marsha, a treatment that was out of reach just 2 years ago is now approved and on the market showing promising results for metastatic cancer patients, in particular melanoma.  However, the treatment does not come without its own caveats.  Because Marsha has already had one pulmonary lobectomy, it is critical that Marsha keep her lungs as healthy as possible.  For this reason, along with intense treatment, she will not be able to work.  <br /><br />Many of you know Marsha has been an amazing school teacher for 18 years.  After this month, she will be required to stay out of the classroom for at least a year.  Her health is a priority and it has become too risky for her to be exposed to simple, everyday viruses.  Because she is a single mom, it will be a heavy burden on her to be out of work for a full year.  I know hundreds of people have donated to help the Massey family in the past, and I’m reaching out to you once again.  <br /><br />Our goal is to raise as much money as we can to cover the loss in wages for Marsha, as well as the increased premium on her insurance while she is out of work.  If you could please share this link, donate as much or as little as possible, it would go so far in helping to reduce the stress this amazing woman is going through.  <br /><br />The outpouring of prayers and support have been overwhelming and Marsha would not be alive today without ALL of YOU and YOUR cries to our God for mercy on this family.
