My name is Carlos, and after spending over 20 years homeless, I am now in recovery and living in a sober home. This journey has not been easy, and I am working every day to rebuild my life and stay on a positive path. While I am grateful for the progress I've made, I am also facing new challenges, including depression and the fear of becoming homeless again. One of the biggest hurdles I face right now is preparing myself to re-enter the workforce. I need clothing that will help me present myself with respect and confidence, especially when attending groups and my treatment center. It's not about fashion—it's about feeling supported and ready to take on new opportunities. I also need a laptop so I can work on my resume, search for jobs, and take the next steps toward independence. Asking for help is not easy for me, but I know I can't do this alone.
