My name is Monica, and I am a 31-year-old mother doing everything I can to bring my children home. On March 29th, 2025, my children's father and I lost custody of our kids due to struggles with drug use. Since then, we have worked hard to follow every court order and take the steps needed to reunite our family.

 Things became even more difficult when my children's father was laid off in December. We had to move into a small studio apartment, and now we are struggling to keep up with the weekly payments. Without a car, it's been nearly impossible to find steady work, and every day is a challenge to keep a roof over our heads. We know that having stable housing is essential to show the judge and CPS that we are ready for our kids to come home.

 We are asking for help to pay for our studio and, if possible, to get a car so we can get back on our feet. The stress and little fights we've had just trying to figure out our next steps have been overwhelming, especially as we prepare to welcome our second baby boy in February 2026.
