On 1st April, I will begin a dedicated walk to raise £5,000 to launch Safe Night Project Lincoln. This is about creating something real — a safe, welcoming space for people who are vulnerable, homeless, or in crisis during the night. Too many people are left with nowhere to go when the streets become unsafe. Safe Night Project aims to change that by providing a place where individuals can come inside, feel secure, have a warm drink, and be treated with dignity and respect. This funding will go directly towards setting up Safe Night Project Lincoln as a Community Interest Company (CIC), covering essential setup costs and the groundwork needed to begin supporting people.
