<div>What began as a typical day for the Patman family quickly turned into a journey no family could ever imagine. On June 7th, Elend was taken to urgent care after experiencing severe headaches. His condition rapidly declined, and he was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. While in the ambulance, Elend went into cardiac arrest and had to be resuscitated. After a series of tests, a tumor was discovered, and doctors performed emergency surgery.

<div>Elend and his family have been a beloved part of the 1904 Baseball Club and Mira Mesa Little League family. Elend has always shown heart, grit, and resilience both on and off the field — and now, he’s facing the biggest challenge of his life.

<p>Hi, my name is Kate Farnsworth, and I have created this go fund me to raise money for my dear friend Katie Disimone and her family. Katie recently was shocked to receive a diagnosis of Glioblastoma.<br /><br />Glioblastoma, also known as glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), is the most aggressive type of cancer that begins within the brain. In Katie's words "This is not a cancer that has a “remission” potential. Even if they had gotten 100% of the tumor out, it regrows because of its tentacles unseen that spread. It has awful survival rates for the 5 year mark. We’ve been told 3 years average. (God that’s still so hard to type). IF the tumor tissue has certain genetic markers, that could help indicate that the tumor might be better responder to the treatments available and the survival years might be longer. But the outliers are few, and even then 10-15 years on an outside chance when you’re 47 years old doesn’t exactly seem right. "<br />Katie has tirelessly worked towards bettering the lives of those with type 1 diabetes around the globe, most notably within the DIY community. She continues to graciously give of herself with a pay-it-forward ethos that she lives day in and day out.<br /><br />Katie is a loving daughter, wife, mom to two incredible daughters, and her family's main income earner. She has a long road of treatment, pt and effort, to squeeze every drop out of the days she has ahead. Hello Everyone, I am raising money to help my dad with bills from hospitalization and for recovery. He caught Covid about three weeks ago. He was fighting it on his own in the beginning and then suddenly, he could barley breathe. On November 13, we rushed him to the hospital and he was admitted for complications due to Covid. My dad is currently in the hospital, still fighting to get his breathing and strength back so he can get out of the hospital. This page was created to help David Cray and Lisa Jensen pay their bills.<br /><br />Lisa collapsed at home on Thursday October 18th, luckily Dave was home, thankfully and able to call 911 and have her transported to the local hospital in Presque Isle Maine, where they live. She was kept there only for a short time and then taken by life flight to the Eastern Maine Medical in Bangor Maine. (2.5 hours from home) Lisa is currently heavily sedated in order to help her brain heal. They have yet to determine what happened to cause the collapse. It's possibly due to an aneurism or blood clot. The doctors have told David and her family that they are taking it hour by hour. The days ahead are full of unknowns, it's undetermined if she will wake up and if/when she does if she'll be able to return to a normal daily life. Lisa works as a DSP (direct support professional)  and only gets paid when she works. David works at a hotel in Caribou and he will be spending his time 24/7 at the hospital. David and Lisa bought a home together just a few years ago. Any of the money donated will be used to pay bills and allow David to be with Lisa at the hospital. Helping Hands

Up until now, she swore us to secrecy.  She'll probably hate me after this, but I'm very concerned about my sister.  Without her life has no meaning....We got devastating news in November, 2016.  They discovered my little sister, Cindy Sanchez, has a thyroid nodule & 4 tumors located in her anterior neck area.  (some are under her carotid arteries , some around her trachea).  As you can imagine, It was nerve racking, waiting for biopsy results.  Then We got the dreaded phone call - Yes, its Cancer.  As my mom & I start balling our eyes out.  We felt someone punched us in the gut. My sister needs an Anterior neck dissection as well as a thyroidectomy.  If things weren't bad enough,  we discover she does NOT have full medical insurance coverage, and this is where I ask friends, family, & neighbors for your help.  My sister has calculated like $5,000 per day for her hospital stay alone.  She's already saying she's going to try to get out of hospital after one day, because I know she's worried about cost. I don't want my sister to worry about anything but her health and recovery.  I would like to assist in helping her, her two sons and husband, in raising money to assist with medical bills. She has to pay a portion of her surgeries, hospital stay, procedures, labs & anesthesiologist costs out of pocket. I'm asking for monetary donations & lots of prayers.  We thank you in advance from the bottom of our hearts, and please anything will help, even if it's just a $1.  We are headed for the fight of our lives.  Please understand she's going through the stages of grief.  Give her space, she might may not be ready for calls.

He sustained severe injuries, including multiple skull fractures with intracranial hemorrhages, a collapsed lung, clavicle and hip fractures, and aspiration complications. He remains in the ICU on a ventilator, having already undergone multiple procedures, with many more ahead. His recovery will require months of intensive rehabilitation, immense effort, and specialized medical care.
