Hello everyone, my name is Kathy and our family is reaching out for some help... Max is our 2-year-old Frenchie. Sweet, smart, loving, and just a great dog. He quickly learned tricks: sit, lay down, gummy bear, high five, spin, and dance. At his first vet appointment, she advised us he had a heart murmur. That possibly he could grow out of it... However, around Christmas time, we noticed his belly was growing. Water retention? We took him to see his vet, and she gave us the bad news. Max is in severe heart failure. She pulled 800ml of fluid from the poor boy. She also explained that surgery wasn't an option as the murmur was on the right side of his heart and inoperable. She gave us water pills for him to take twice daily, just to give him a little more time at home with us... The vet also asked us to reach out to the breeder and let her know about this genetic problem. We did. The breeder said Max was healthy as it stated in Max's papers. Mother and father both healthy. I find this challenging to accept due to the fact this kind of heart condition is genetic. Contact the AKC so they also know. He has now reached the place where we need to help him cross the rainbow bridge. So unexpected, so heartbreaking and the cost is too overwhelming for us. Please help Max cross the Rainbow Bridge with us. ✨️

Max is my beloved 2-year-old companion who has filled my life with so much joy and love. He’s incredibly smart—he’s learned tricks like sit, shake hands, gummy bear, dance, and lay down. Max is always ready for a cuddle and loves to play, especially when apples or treats are involved. His playful spirit and gentle nature have made every day brighter for me and my family. Recently, Max was diagnosed with heart failure. It’s been heartbreaking to watch him struggle, and the costs for his medical care, end-of-life support, and cremation are overwhelming. Facing these expenses while preparing to say goodbye is difficult, both emotionally and financially. Our hearts are crushed to lose him so soon. I am reaching out to ask for financial support to help Max in his final days, so he can be comfortable and remembered with love and dignity. Any help you can give means the world to us. Thank you for supporting Max and helping us through this difficult time.

Hello everyone, my name is Kathy and my BFF is Max, a 3.5-year-old tan Frenchie. He is so sweet, gives the best cuddles, knows 6 tricks that he learned very quickly, is stuck to me like velcro and follows the rest of the family all around the house. About a month ago, I noticed Max was having a big belly. It just kept getting bigger. I took Max to his vet, and I was crushed. The vet said that Max had a buildup of fluid that needed to be removed. She told us that his heart murmur was worse and caused the fluid retention, and that Max was in heart failure. She put him on water pills. They seem to be working, but what is it doing to his organs. When we first got Max, we learned of his heart murmur and hoped it would get better as he got older. Now we know the murmur is on the right side and is inoperable. She said even if we did the very expensive surgery, Max would not make it. I have been looking for options to help him cross the rainbow bridge. But, until that time, I am trying to give him the most love and comfort I can. My vet also suggested contacting the breeder to let her know about Max. The breeder got back to us by saying that Max's papers show his mother and father were healthy. My next option is to contact the AKC and let them know also, as this could happen to another litter. My family and I have grown such big hearts for Max. He is our young family member. Max will be missed greatly when he crosses that bridge. I am reaching out to all of you for help and support, please donate to Max's medical and final expenses, if you can.
