 My good friend, Jon Fischer, which many of you know as the avocado guy who is at every concert every music event, is a self-employed music lover who was just diagnosed with stage three colon cancer. The cancer has not spread beyond the tumor, but this diagnosis has changed everything. Jon is about to go through a life-changing time as cancer hits him hard, and he will have to have chemo and radiation. He will not be able to work anytime soon, and possibly not again, which means the income he depended on is suddenly gone.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Jon is the one guy everyone can count on and has always been there when someone needs help. Now he needs that same support himself. I’m raising funds to help him stay in his home and cover the basics while he faces this illness. This fundraiser will also help Jon’s daughter, because it is just the two of them in the home.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Donations will help with the loss of wages, mortgage payments, food, and other items or expenses that are not covered by insurance. These are not one-time needs. Without income from work, the bills that keep coming month after month do not stop, and steady support can help him keep up with housing and daily living costs over time.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 If you are able, please consider making a recurring donation to provide ongoing help as these expenses continue. One-time donations are also deeply appreciated and will make a real difference. Every contribution will help give Jon more stability and help him focus on what matters most right now.

</div>

<div><strong>A PERSONAL NOTE FROM DENNIS</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My name is Dennis.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>You might know me from a Death Angel record sleeve, from work, or from years of friendship. Maybe we're meeting for the first time here. Whatever the circumstance which finds you here on my page reading this note, thanks for taking the time to do so. It means a lot.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Forgive me, but I’m going to get straight to it because, well, I’m already feeling very vulnerable, and there’s no easy way for me to say any of this.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In February 2026, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Duodenal Cancer. I'd already lost my job of almost 20 years. Suddenly, my family and I had to find money for cancer treatment while trying to keep up with the everyday bills. I'm asking for help to pursue treatment at the Immunocine Cancer Center in Mexico and support my family through the months ahead. I've been researching the Center, and it offers something called dendritic cell immunotherapy, which uses a patient's own immune cells and tumor material to prepare a personalized treatment. The aim, as the Center explains it, is to help the immune system recognize and attack the cancer in the best possible way, based on your unique body.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Our fundraising goal is $150,000. That will help get the treatment I need in Mexico, and help my family remain supported. It is enormously difficult to arrive at a dollar amount, yet it is the reality of where I am, and I’m asking for help because our family can’t manage these expenses alone. The treatment accounts for the largest part of the goal. Heal Navigator's public listing puts Immunocine's treatment cost at $120,000. I still need to confirm the cost of my own care, but that gives you an idea of what we're trying to cover before we even get to flights and living expenses.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>The funds will go toward four areas:</strong>

</div>

<ul>

<li><strong>Treatment:</strong> Paying for care at Immunocine if its team confirms I can go ahead

</li>

<li><strong>Travel:</strong> Getting to Mexico for treatment and returning home

</li>

<li><strong>Accommodation:</strong> Having somewhere to stay while I need to be there

</li>

<li><strong>Family support:</strong> Helping with groceries, household bills, and other everyday expenses while I pursue treatment

</li>

</ul>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I don't need anything extravagant. I just need to be able to get there, have a roof over my head for those 6 weeks, and know my family can keep things afloat back home. Right now, putting those costs together is incredibly overwhelming. Your kind support would give us something to work with as we make the arrangements. $150k sounds huge, far beyond what any one person could offer. But it takes a village, and every cent counts. A $5 donation multiplied many times over is so much more than $5, so anything and everything helps. Truly.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>As you can I’m sure imagine, none of it is easy - including this note I’m writing - but I find myself in a saloon I never wanted to be in, and so this has to be part of my fight…<strong>because there's still so much I want to stick around for.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I want to carry on watching my sons Maddox (22) and Roman (19) grow and build lives of their own. And I want to be beside them, helping them to continue becoming strong, compassionate men. I want to marry my fiancée, Gemalyn, and continue being present for the people I love most. As a family we have so many plans, so many memories to create, and so many special moments ahead of us.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Again, thanks for taking the time to read this note.

</div>

<div>Love and best wishes,

</div>

<div>Dennis

Help Dennis Pepa Beat Cancer

<p>Hello, my name is Colin &amp; I deeply appreciate you taking the time to understand why I have set this fund raiser up for myself.
</p><br />
<p>My goal is to cover my medical bills (outside what my insurance plan covered) + loss of income &amp; the depletion of all my savings due to multiple surgeries, subsequent recovery times from each one &amp; treatments thereafter, that have inevitably taken away my ability to work due to constant daily debilitating nerve pain &amp; having to be sedated w/ heavy meds every day for months on end so far. Now since my condition didn't happen on a job or in a car (workman's comp or car insurance), I've had to pay for everything myself &amp; have lost everything (financially speaking)
</p><br />
<p>When this started:
</p>
<p>This started in 2020. I had surgery on my spine (L5-S1). However in Aug. of 2025, I started having debilitating pain again &amp; my whole leg and foot started going numb. In September last year, I found out from an MRI that I needed a 2nd surgery on the same area. This recent surgery in Oct. unveiled problems &amp; complications that I had not known about for the last 5 years. The area in my spine had a tear in the disc membrane, which caused it to LEAK OUT all of its spinal fluid causing the disc to become calcified, like rock, over time. (I can't do anything about it malpractice wise).
</p><br />
<p>Now just a couple weeks ago, I found out I'll need a 3rd operation (the most invasive yet) on Jan. 26th. They will fuse my spine w/ a titanium cage between my tailbone and the last vertebrae in my spinal column. They will be doing the operation through the front of me so a lot of my organs &amp; intestines will have to be placed aside and/or moved aside for the Dr.'s to fully access the area. This surgery will come with a lot of potential risks, however out of the 3 options I was given, this is the only one that shows promise of long term benefits.
</p><br />
<p>Unfortunately, the cost of the initial surgery in Oct + in-home care costs (after the surgery) + upcoming surgery costs + my monthly bills have all stacked up very fast &amp; have fully depleted my accounts.
</p><br />
<p>I'm aware that asking for help might come at an inconvenient time due to the holidays &amp; all, but ANY donation would be greatly appreciated.
</p><br />
<p>Thank you,
</p>
<p>Colin

Asking for support through multiple surgeries

<div>My name is Juana Aguilar, on June 26 at 2pm my son Walter Williams was struck by a truck while taking my 4yr old daughter to lunch, his heroism managed to save my daughter from any serious injury but unfortunately he was severely injured and took substantial damage to his brain. Through what felt like endless tears, countless sleeplessness and prayers from family and friends visiting my son in person at the hospital he found himself in incubation in the ICU and through it all myself and my family have managed to keep our optimism despite the unimaginable situation. I’m here to ask for your support through any possible donations to help pay for the expenses that we are unable to cover; having dipped into each of our individual savings and work pay, and credit of any kind we could attempt to procure was challenging but the challenges and obstacles keep presenting themselves and costs continue to rise; we only ask to give what you are willing and appreciate any form of encouragement on this page in the hopes of helping Walters recovery.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you so very much, Juana Aguilar.

<div>On January 17th, 2022 Tuesday Cross was rushed to hospital after collapsing in her kitchen. The hospital initially dismissed Tuesday. Her friends and family were told she’d never breathe again on her own, but her fiancée Jesse Hughes never gave up on her and has been fighting continuously for her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After 9 months of fighting day and night for Tuesday, she was finally moved to a rehabilitation clinic where she can receive proper treatment. Since moving to the new clinic, Tuesday has made great strides. While Tuesday still has a long road of recovery ahead of her, there is no doubt that she will continue to progress until she makes a full recovery.
