 Recently, I was laid off from my job. Despite putting myself out there every day and fighting to land a new position, the job search has been a long and uphill battle. Because of this unexpected setback, I’ve fallen dangerously behind on my rent and essential bills.

 Right now, I am facing the immediate risk of eviction and urgently need to cover at least two months of back rent to keep a roof over my head while I work to get back on my feet.

<div>DECK WGF began his journey as a graffiti artist in 1985, although it wasn't until 1998 that he made a significant impact on the New York graffiti scene. Known for his prolific street bombing in the late 90s, Deck took a break in 2002 and moved to Texas in search of a new beginning. By 2007, he rejoined the art scene and continued to make his mark.

<div>My name is DJ crush, it’s been my dream since as far back as I could remember to be a DJ. Growing up my father would always back out his set and go crazy. The love and joy he had for music made me want to become a DJ even more. At 16 I made my dreams come true. Music has saved me from running to the streets. By the time I was 19, I was throwing big teen parties throughout Brooklyn. NEVER stole from anyone!! I gave people a job and a place to come enjoy themselves. After paying off 30 teens I had $200 the most to go home with but it was okay because I know I was building a name for myself.  Fast forward to 2023 I finally got the set up I dreamed and worked so hard for. Real blood, sweat, injuries, tears! Down to the point of spending nights in my van when I had no where else go this year has been my hardest one as of yet and on Labor Day Monday 4:26pm it only got worse. My van was stolen and by the time NYPD found it half of crush ent was gone all my visual production gone!!!! all my blessings ! the equipment that helped feed my family gone in a blank of a eye by a low life cowards. They took what took me 17 years to build . Things that are irreplaceable all in a matter of 2 mins. This occurred on the corner of Marcus Garvey BLV,  named after a black man who united blacks and robbed by a black man. I did not want to make a go fund me and look weak but my friends want to help me and I’m putting my pride aside for my kids i had over 17k of equipment in the van I’m not asking for everything to be replaced I just need a kick start to get back on my feet any movement would help even a share this thing crushed me and I would appreciate any help thanks in advance

<div>Hi, many of you know me as Jessica, Chewita or "Mac's Sister" (which was super annoying growing up). I am sad to say that about 5 months ago Mac was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic cancer. Originating in his colon, it spread to his lungs, liver, brain by the time he found out. He underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor that was causing excruciating headaches. About a month and a half later we learned that it has also spread to his bones affecting his spine. Mac has been receiving chemotherapy which was put on hold to receive radiation because a scan showed an additional 8 spots in his brain confirmed to be cancer. Within the last week he suffered a seizure and lost his ability to walk and cannot feel his legs. As you can imagine this is life changing not only for him but also his loved ones.  I think that anyone who knows me knows how I feel about my brother. My hopes are to keep him comfortable at home with family opposed to having him in a facility. This will require 24/7 care and supervision which will result in me and his daughter Kiara to not be able to work full time. We are also looking to take a holistic approach which is not covered by insurance. I hate to do this because I am prideful, but I am going to put that to the side to ensure that he has everything he needs throughout this journey. Any amount that you donate will be greatly appreciated. Prayer is powerful and I ask that you keep him in yours if you are a believer. Thank you.

My neighbor called me informing he sees smoke coming from the house and noticed the electrical line snapped and hit the house causing this blaze… as i spoke to him i could hear the crackling of the power line… i was just a few min away thankfully but when i arrived to the block what i witnessed triggered me in ways i couldn’t expect anyone to understand.

<div>im scared from receiving a emergency phone call and having to pull up to a home to tons of police, fire department trucks, and Ems trucks. It stems from when I lost my sister in 2008. To this day i still replay vividly that entire day.

<div>all i could think of as i was rushing to the block was is anyone home and are they safe! are the two cats safe!! How serious is this that’s happening… and when i got there it was like OHHH MYYY G! I couldn’t believe was i witnessed.

<div>my artwork, my vision, my home that me along with 5 others are living in - up in flames with massive smoke shooting out of it.

<div>100s of personnel, the firefighters ripping away doing what they do to put out the fire.. smashing all the windows, walls, and anything else that was needed… you sit watching the fire doing damage and then also see the FDNY doing damage.. saying to self this house is completely done… and sure enough the aftermath was exactly that!

<div>everything in that house is done, in the attic 15 years of memories of my kids, and good times while the family was together…

<div>years on years of my clothing, personal belongings, last set of sneakers all either toasted or water damaged

<div>my tenants who i consider my tribe … my family outside family. … all of their belongings gone!! 5 Adults whole lives upside down …

<div>while the FDNY was putting out the fire in the one home, my other home right next door they went into and started busting walks and windows in there… i started to scream and beg them please stop! Please i need this home to house my tribe! I need this home for my children as i am preparing to fight for some custody rights for them.

<div>( that’s a whole other real life story I’m dealing with ) they told me the home had “HOT” spots and they needed to ensure the safety of the home .. thankfully it didn’t catch fire but the damage done was enough to put us in a hotel by the red cross as i now have to figure out so much !!

<div>yes insurance will god willing cover this mess .. but the interim, the next days, weeks, months are gonna be rough! Not only for me but for me and everyone else who lived there.
</div>

<div>They are my responsibility and i have a plan to get everyone housed right away just.

<div>but i need help! I need help financially to push through these next days, weeks, and months, these funds will be going toward construction material, labor, temporary housing, food, clothing, footwear, underwear for the LYFE FAMILY.

<div>when tragic times happen sadly the bills don’t freeze, mortgages don’t freeze, and everything has to continued to be paid.

Mildred Mimi Delvalle

<div>My brother-in-law Miguel Camacho was a great man whose end came too soon. His death was unforeseen, and we were financially unprepared. On behalf of our family, we are raising funds for the funeral costs and any expenses relating to his memorial. Sadly, we lost him Wednesday night, just 19 days after his 47th birthday. As many may know, Miguel was immunocompromised. He contracted COVID and succumbed to the virus shortly after.

<div>He was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle whose death was unexpected and incredibly painful for his family and friends. 
</div>

<div>Many of his friends and fans knew him as his artist name VAMP. Miguel was incredibly talented and revered by his followers. He used this platform to show that art can take a beautiful form no matter the place and has donated some of his canvases to help others. I know his crew will sorely miss him and will make sure his legacy lives on.

<div>ON DECEMBER 23rd 2020 MY SON DIDN'T COME HOME AND I KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG:
</div>
<div>When my beloved son AJ did not come home on day before Christmas Eve, I knew that something was wrong. He left to bring some food, face mask to some friends and promise to come home  to finish painting the house. Painting house was one of thoughtful gift he wanted to give me. 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He never came home, all calls went straight to voice mail. I found out 2nd day someone said he got ran over by a motorcycle on Essex Street. I called every police stations, hospitals and found him at  Bellevue Hospital unconscious was told he was in coma, very critical condition, with a broken leg, broken pelvic bones in 3 places, internal bleeding, and internal organs damaged.  It was overwhelming seeing him attached to machine and mental rods attached to his hips with bags of blood. 
</div>
<div>As you might imagine, it is very hard for me to ask for help since my son is the head of household and even at his young age, 25, he has been taking care of us other responsibilities. Now, with my disability it getting hard go back and forth via  public transportation especially with the rise of COVID 19.  As a mother No matter what he going to see me everyday his eye open to let him know I'm there and do whatever I can to help him.
</div>

</div>
<div>In addition to the multiple injuries that Anthony suffered, his wallet and IDs are missing and his phone was smashed; they need to be replaced, which will take time and incur additional expenses and running around.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>According to the police report, he was hit by a motorcycle, which crashed into him with direct front impact. It is extremely difficult and painful for me to see my son like this since he is an athlete and he has always been an active person skateboarding, bike riding, surfing, teaching, and models; participating in so many community activities, and his efforts in helping me to distribute face masks to the homeless, etc.... 
</div>

On Sunday, April 12, Sylvia Leroy, a pregnant nurse, positive with COVID19 suffered a cardiac arrest at Mt. Sinai hospital after successfully coming off a ventilator 7 days prior.  Her premature daughter was delivered at 30 weeks and is in the NICU.  The arrest lasted 8 minutes and has left her with anoxic brain injury due to lack of oxygen and presently she’s awake but minimally conscious, not able to respond to sounds, touch or commands. <br /><br />Sylvia will need significant long-term acute cognitive and physical therapy to help give her a fighting chance for her baby Esther and her 3 year old toddler Jay.  Sylvia’s union insurance unfortunately covers only 30 days of acute rehabilitation - at centers like Kessler in NJ, Moss Rehab in PA and TIRR Memorial in Texas - a handful across the country that specialize in recovery for people suffering from severe disorders of consciousness due to lack of oxygen to the brain like Sylvia.<br /><br />Sylvia’s family has been fighting early on to get her the best care possible, from transferring her to Mt. Sinai hospital and getting her into an acute rehabilitation center.  Please help Sylvia get the care she needs to be there for her family. <br /><br />About Sylvia:<br /><br />Sylvia is 35, a nurse at Brookdale Hospital, wife and mother of 2 young children.  Sylvia is truly loved by her friends &amp; family for her warmth, dedication to people who are underserved and love for God.  Sylvia sadly contracted COVID19 while working to help other sick patients and now she and her children need your support. Help a front line nurse and baby get proper care

It is with a heavy heart that I write this. On January 25th, 2020, my niece brought a life into this world but sadly lost her own in the process. Shakema was so vibrant &amp; full of life and had a laugh that was contagious and a smile that could light up a room. She loved fashion but she loved giving life even more. She leaves behind her husband Tamel and her 7 boys, Carnello, Justin, Nyri, Shia, Micco, Dakota and Nova and also her 3 girls, Laila, Olivia and her yet-to-be-named newborn baby girl. We are asking for donations to send my beautiful niece home and to lighten the load of continuing to raise these 10 beautiful children and making sure that they have everything that they need during this difficult time. 9th Annual MK BBQ 2019

Our friend  Daniel Whedon aka Omni died way too soon. Dan was so many things but he will be remembered as a talented graffiti artist and a true friend to so many people  He was full of life and had so much more to accomplish.  Let’s get together and celebrate his life  Dan has no family in NYC, we are his family here. Please donate generously to  help give Dan the memorial he so deserves.  The funds will be used to pay for Dan's cremation, as well as a memorial service.   An additional money remaining in the fund will be used to commission a memorial mural for Dan.  Since the beneficiary of this fund is unable to withdraw the funds himself, I will be withdrawing the funds and paying for all the above and any additional expenses.

<strong>For those of you of you that are used to seeing me out and about taking pics here in the US and abroad. To my friends who I’ve grown up with, worked with, danced with, and hung out with over the years please I need your help! <br />6 months ago, I noticed that I was losing strength in my arms. The doctors told me it was tendinitis but when I couldn’t lift my IPAD or a cup of coffee I knew it was more serious. <br />After several tests, On April 16. I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (or Bone Marrow Cancer) I was told that it’s extremely aggressive. The following day while trying open an elevator door, a bone broke in my arm. I know what you’re thinking “really!!” so was I!!!<br />In fact, I can remember saying to myself in shock: “did I just snap a bone in my arm”. A few minutes later the pain hit me!! I managed to get to the lobby of my building where one of my neighbors called an ambulance. They came quickly and took me to the hospital.The EMT workers placed me on a stretcher to take me into the emergency room. Despite me telling them that I had Bone Marrow cancer and very brittle bones. They yanked me up by my other arm breaking it in the process!! I stayed in that emergency room for two days with two broken arms until my brother and my friend Ricky Smith somehow got me a room and then transferred to another hospital. Rick I am forever grateful for your actions those first few nights. <br />I had double surgery with rods placed in my arms. Radiation treatments and then aggressive chemo treatments. I spent 41days in the hospital and 34 days in rehab. Due to damage to my spine from the cancer:I can only walk limited distances with a walker and need a wheelchair for extended travel. Extensive physical and occupational therapy is required along with home care. <br />When I was in the hospital I didn’t want to announce this on FB and have depended on a small group of special friends and family that have cared, guided, advised and spiritually carried me through this experience. <br />I NEED  to thank: Daniel Gonzalez, Richard Smith, Jeana McLeod, Stuart Weger, Maritza Dominguez, Michael Brody, Keisha Cornwall, Winston Cornwall, Vashti DuBois, Diane Brown, Leah Bennet, Taz Gonzalez, and RA. Morrison. I  also owe a huge debt of gratitude to my sister and friend Mercedes Vega, who despite grieving the loss of her loved ones, has maintained daily contact, advocated for me and has patiently listened to my rants and raves and counseled me through my anger and fear. Mercedes I could never have made it through these few months without your love and support.<br />While I am grateful to  my friends for  their support and grateful to be home. The  cancer is NOT in remission. I need to have ongoing chemo treatments, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy  and a Bone Marrow transplant. I am unable to work and have applied for disability benefits. The earliest of those benefits may begin is, in November. I’m in need of your help  and I’m asking As I know that It takes a village, I’M NOT ABLE TO DO THIS ALONE.I need your financial assistance, NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL !! Rodney Curtis Sr passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on 10/22/16 in NYC. He had no burial insurance as the family originally thought.
