<div>Hello, my name is Tara and I live in the US. I've been speaking with Mohammed and his family in Ga za everyday for over 1 year now. He is a selfless man who is truly dedicated to supporting his family. Your donation helps him become self-sustaining for the future. Pictured above is Mohammed, his mother, niece and nephews.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>In a place where dreams are shattered daily, Mohammed refuses to give up. He's an ambitious young man who strives with all his might to secure his future and build a stable life through his own hard work and sweat, despite all the difficulties surrounding him.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>In Ga za, securing the most basic necessities is a daily struggle, and Mohammed is trying the impossible to find work and live with dignity. This campaign is a lifeline for Mohammed, helping him start his small business and secure safe housing and a stable life free from want.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Every donation, no matter how small, is an investment in the will of a young man who aspires to live in peace and security. Let's support Mohammed so he can prove to the world that determination is stronger than any circumstance.</strong>

Building A Future From The Rubble

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sofortige Unterbringung: Übergangsunterkünfte und Verpflegung
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Erstausstattung: Kleidung, Hygieneartikel, Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Wie du helfen kannst:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Spenden: Jede finanzielle Unterstützung – egal ob groß oder klein – kommt direkt den betroffenen Parteien zugute.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Teilen: Bitte teile diesen Aufruf in deinen Netzwerken, mit Freunden, Familie und Arbeitskollegen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div>Hi, my name is Aliyah from Glasgow, and I am fundraising for my friend's family in central Gaza. We all know a genocide is taking place, and life is extremely tough for the residents of Gaza. I have known this family for years, and want to set up this fundraiser to help his family. Mohammed's family include his 2 brothers and their children. The youngest is Cenan, 8 months old. Mohammed also takes medication for epilepsy (see images).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The family are now in the North, and have to buy all their food and water from markets. The aid is scarce in the North, so all donations will help with buying essentials. Money will be transferred to their bank account via Intl payments. They are able to receive money. We will share updates with receipts and also images from his family in Gaza.

Help Mohammed's family in Gaza

<strong>In celebration and memory of Jo Cox, the funds raised here will be invested in creating the fairer, kinder and more tolerant world Jo fought for. </strong><br /><br />Following the overwhelming generosity of almost 45,000 people in the days and weeks after Jo’s murder, <strong>£1.5 million has been divided between 3 organisations which were close to her heart: </strong><a href="http://www.royalvoluntaryservice.org.uk/" target="_blank"><strong>The Royal Voluntary Service</strong></a><strong>, </strong><a href="http://www.hopenothate.org.uk/" target="_blank"><strong>Hope Not Hate</strong></a><strong> and </strong><a href="https://www.whitehelmets.org/" target="_blank"><strong>The White Helmets</strong></a><strong>.</strong> Each of these organisations is investing the money to further Jo's work in Batley and Spen, across the UK and in Syria respectively. We will keep you posted on the progress of this vital work. <br /><br /><strong>All money donated above £1.5 million will be used to establish The Jo Cox Foundation which will advance the values and causes that Jo fought for in her life.</strong><br /><br />In her husband Brendan’s words: <br /><br />"Jo believed in a better world and she fought for it every day of her life with an energy, and a zest for life that would exhaust most people. She would have wanted two things above all else to happen now, one that our precious children are bathed in love and two, that we all unite to fight against the hatred that killed her.”<br /><br />Let's come together and give what we can to help create that better world.<br /><br />-------<br /><br />More information: <br /><br />This page was originally created by Jo Cox's friends in London, including Nick Grono (CEO, The Freedom Fund), Tim Dixon (MD, Purpose), Mabel van Oranje (Chair, Girls Not Brides), and Gemma Mortensen (Chief Global Officer, Change.org), in close collaboration with her husband Brendan Cox. Once funds are gathered they will be split between Jo's favourite causes, chosen by her family.<br /><br />We have received several messages asking why there is no option to claim Gift Aid on donations to Jo Cox’s Fund. At this stage that is not possible. The rules for Gift Aid are that it can only be offered to UK taxpayers, and only for donations to UK charities that are registered in the UK. <br /><br />If you only wish to give to a charity registered in the UK in order to claim Gift Aid, of course you are more than welcome to donate directly to the Royal Voluntary Service (registered with the Charity Commission in England and Wales number 1015988 and in Scotland number SC038924), or to HOPE not hate’s separate charitable arm, HOPE not Hate Educational Ltd (number 1013880).<br /><br />Thank you.

Nepal, a beautiful, land-locked country with rich culture and history was struck by a devastating tragedy today, 25/02/2015. An earthquake at a magnitude of 7.9 shook the country, mostly affecting the areas between the capital Kathmandu and the city of Pokhara. It has currently claimed 1,341 lives and the numbers keep growing. Many are reported missing and many have suffered serious injuries. Buildings and roads have collapsed. Historical monuments have been destroyed, including the Dharahara Tower that was built in 1834. Our nation mourns for the thousands of lives lost. The funds raised on this page will go towards buying and sending items in high demand in the affected areas, such as dry foods, tents, medicines and clean water.<br /><br />My name is Yasmin Rai. I am currently living in the UK but I grew up in these very streets and it breaks my heart to see my home country being affected by this natural disaster. I feel utterly helpless and fearful of the warnings of the possibility of more tremors in the next 48 hours. As I type this, I have many friends and families who are sleeping in the streets tonight as a precaution. The only way I can extend a helping hand to those affected and in need in Nepal is through this social platform, with the generosity of people from all over the world. I urge everyone reading this to donate as much as you can and I assure you, it will go a long way in helping to build our nation back and to help provide immediate aid; be it medical care, clean water, food or shelter.<br /><br />We are forever grateful to everyone who has us in their hearts and prayers. I have faith that we will all unite and work to support each other in this dark time and we will rise above this.
