My sister’s next door neighbor Shnider germilus, lucitha, and there daughter Janelle are facing an incredibly difficult time after a devastating house fire in their apartment. The fire not only destroyed everything of what they owned, but also resulted in the mom and her two-year-old daughter being sent to the hospital. It’s heartbreaking to see a family in our community go through such a traumatic event, especially when young children are involved. 
 
 
 Right now, they are dealing with the aftermath—coping with medical needs and trying to replace the belongings they lost. The road ahead will be challenging, but with the support of caring people like you, we can help them begin to rebuild. Every donation will go directly toward covering medical bills and helping them replace essential items lost in the fire.

He was a leader of men. His smile would light up the room. His passion for football was unbelievable. Voted team MVP this past season and carried a 4.0 GPA. He was looking forward to taking his game to the next level. His commitment, dedication, leadership, and sheer grit made him rise to the level of success that he desired. Honoring Austin Metcalf: Help His Family Heal

As some of you might know Matt was just hit with a devastating diagnosis of Leukemia. At 32, Matt is in the prime of his life with his 2 young children, Abigail and Nathan and his wife, Cheryl. This is not news you expect! But Matt is taking it all in stride and is ready for the fight! The plan is to be very aggressive with treatment which means Matt has to do it as an inpatient.  Due to this, Matt will be unable to work and Cheryl will have to take time off from work as well for support.   As you can imagine this is a very stressful thing for a young family to go through.  We are trying to raise money to help get them through the next few months without the stress of how they are going to pay their mortgage, insurance, etc.  We want all of Matt’s focus to be on kicking cancer, not on how they are going to get by while he is out of work. Help Matt Aiello during his battle with leukemia

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Steven A. DiSarro Jr. inform you of his untimely passing on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. The harsh reality of losing a beloved and vibrant soul such as Steve at the young age of 33 is most heartbreaking. We take solace in the love of our family and friends and choose at this time to celebrate the wonderful memories and light that he brought into this world. If Divine Intervention is to be believed, we are fully aware that the timing of the recent media reports can be confusing and misleading to many. Our main focus at this moment is putting Steven Jr. to rest and to honor his memory in the way that he deserves. Steven was not only a most adored and valued member of our family, he was also a husband and father to two beautiful, young girls. Our Stevie’s legacy will live on through the smiles of his daughters who will be a continuous reminder that his spirit is among us. We choose to celebrate our son, husband, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and friend in the coming days and ask that you please join us on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. at the Holden, Dunn &amp; Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock Street, Westwood, MA 02090. We will then remember Steven Jr. at a funeral mass on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Denis Parish, 157 Washington Street, Westwood, MA 02090.
