We are heartbroken to share that Joseph Montana Lamphere, 37, passed away following years of chronic illness that took so much from him. Named after a true football legend, Joe held on with impressive strength and grit. His caring spirit remained present until the very end; he was most concerned about his children and parents. Joe was a father, brother, son, cousin, nephew, and friend. His empathy was legendary, and his sense of humor refused to quit. Even in moments of pain, he could make people laugh, and we loved him for it.
<br>
<br>
 Joe grew up in Sudbury, Vermont, just a mile from Burr Pond, where as a child he could be found swimming, building sand castles, and most likely fishing. He was a happy child whose laughter was contagious. He graduated from Otter Valley Union High School and later the New England Culinary Institute, with an apprenticeship at the Cliff House in Ogunquit, Maine. He was a talented chef and most recently enjoyed working as a landscaper. Joe cherished connection, family, friendship, music, and nature. He had a profound thoughtfulness that led him to question the world around him and search for deeper meaning. As a father, he adored his children, Ava Kay (11 years old) and Oliver Lamphere (8 years old). Even when he wasn't able to be with them, they were always on his mind.
<br>
<br>
 Joe’s passing has left a void in our family, but we are determined to honor his legacy by supporting his children, Ava and Oliver. Our hope is to help them in ways Joe would have wanted—by providing for their education, a first home, or other important milestones. Funds raised will be placed in UGMA investment accounts for Ava and Oliver, to be accessed when they turn 21. This will give them a strong foundation for their futures, just as Joe dreamed. Any contribution, big or small, will help Ava and Oliver build the futures their dad wanted for them. Your support means the world to our family, and we are deeply grateful for your kindness.

</div>
<div>I am a family friend of Gennia Grimes On Thursday, March 27, 2025, our hearts were shattered when we lost Gennia Grimes to a senseless act of violence. At just 21 years old, she was taken from us far too soon by her baby father—tragically killing her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Gennia was full of life, love, and ambition. She was a dedicated mother, a bright student at Alabama State University, set to graduate in August 2025 with dreams of becoming a lawyer. She was also a talented dancer with a passion for making a difference. She was the youngest in her family—their miracle baby—so full of kindness and grace.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, instead of celebrating her future, we are preparing to lay her to rest. Our family is raising funds to cover funeral expenses and support efforts to bring her 9-month-old baby home so he can say goodbye to his mother.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is not just about loss—it’s about justice. Gennia was murdered, and we will not let her story be ignored. We are fighting for answers, for truth, and for the justice she deserves.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are asking for your support in any way—whether through a donation, a share, or simply spreading awareness. Every contribution will help us honor Gennia’s life and give her the farewell she deserves.

Justice for Gennia Grimes: Funeral & Family Support

<div>Hi, my name is Toni and I’m fundraising funeral costs for my cousin Judy Forrest. Judy unexpectedly left us on her sons 9th birthday. Anyone that knows Judy knows that she is a beautiful, vibrant, loving person who made friends everywhere she went. Unfortunately with sudden passing there was no way to prepare for the cost of the funeral. If you can donate it would really help alleviate the financial stress of Judy’s family. If you cannot donate then please share. Anything helps. Thank you so much.

</div>
<div>PLEASE NOTE: any additional money will be put in a bank account set up for Cruzs college fund

Funeral costs for Judy Forrest

<div>Hunter Tremblay, a 17-year-old student at Rutland High School and Stafford Technical Center in Rutland, Vermont, was involved in a devastating automobile accident, through no fault of his own, on Saturday, September 18, 2021, as he was making his way home. Though Hunter attempted to veer off the road to avoid impact, there just wasn’t enough time and he was hit head-on by another car. Thank God Hunter was wearing his seatbelt!
</div>

<div>When Hunter woke from the accident, his first concern was for the other driver worrying whether or not she was okay. Hunter’s ability to think about others before his needs is a reminder of what makes Hunter so special. Hunter sustained multiple compound fractures to both legs, broke both arms, and has a hairline fracture in several vertebrates and pelvis. His lungs and heart were bruised, as well as his kidneys, liver, colon, and spleen which had to be removed. He was rushed to Rutland Hospital and is now in Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. He is still on a breathing machine to alleviate the stress on his bruised heart and lungs. In the 10 days since this has happened, Hunter has had seven surgeries with additional ones on the horizon to address the fractures in his foot. He has had multiple CT scans and MRIs as well as many other treatments to help him heal, all of which add additional stress to his body. These procedures are far from over. Hunter is young, he is strong, and miraculously, in time, is expected to make a full recovery.
</div>

<div>Doctors anticipate he will be able to stand, walk, and resume normal activities again. However, after his discharge from the hospital he will have to go through extensive rehabilitation this upcoming spring to regain mobility and strengthen his legs and arms. His parents have and will continue to be at his side 24-hours a day until he is able to return home.
</div>

<div>Many people have reached out, asking what they can do to help Hunter and his family. Although it is difficult for the family to reach out and ask for help, we are putting together this GoFundMe page to help pay for the accruing medical and future rehabilitation expenses, food and transportation for his parents, necessities for his sibling who remains in Vermont over an hour away from her brother. Please consider making a donation to help Hunter and his family through what is unquestionably the most difficult time the family has faced. In an effort to help Hunter’s parents keep their focus on his recovery, we are asking you to consider making a donation, our way of providing whatever support we can to this incredible young man and his wonderful family. Hunter’s medical expenses will be extensive and his road to recovery will be long, extremely difficult, and excruciatingly painful at times but we all believe wholeheartedly that he will recover.
</div>

<div>Hunter is compassionate and genuine. He has an incredible sense of humor and a smile that you just can’t help but smile back at. He is a super hard worker and always eager to help. Hunter loves playing and watching baseball, hanging out with his friends, being outdoors, hunting, fishing, playing video games, listening to music, traveling and taking trips with his mom, building things with his dad, and working at Olivia’s Market in Rutland after school. Hunter is a homebody, loves goofing around with his dogs and spending time with his family. His plans are to pursue a career as an electrician. Hunter is loved by teachers, friends, co-workers, and his family, especially his 9-year-old little sister. Hunter is her hero.
</div>

<div>Please keep sending healing thoughts, strength, and positivity to Hunter and his family.
</div>

<div>For anyone who would like to reach out to Hunter or his family and share kind words, messages of support, funny stories, or photos with Hunter &amp;/or his family (including his little sister), please connect with the fundraiser organizer. The photos and messages will be compiled and given to Hunter and his family.

<div>When emailing: In the subject line please put “for Hunter”

<div>If you don’t want your messages or photos shared on any social media, please include “DO NOT SHARE” in your email.
