My mother-in-law's husband made a huge sacrifice years ago when he moved from Canada to marry her, leaving behind his three daughters. After years of separation, his daughters are now reunited with him in Canada, and our family is finally getting the chance to come together again. This journey means everything to us, but making such a long move across the country is both difficult and expensive. We are planning to drive from Coal Township, PA all the way to Saskatchewan, Canada, with just one driver and our beloved cat. The costs are adding up quickly—gas, lodging, food, and making sure our cat is safe for the journey. We've also had to pay for moving company fees, birth certificate retrievals, passport photos, and the delivery of our passports. On top of that, we need to cover our first rent, groceries, and basic necessities for our new home, as well as set aside emergency funds in case anything goes wrong along the way. I want to share that my mother-in-law would never ask for help on her own—she’s always trying to do everything herself, and it’s not fair for her to carry this burden alone. That’s why I want to surprise her with support from kind people who understand how much this means to us. We know that reaching our goal would be wonderful, but truly, any support—no matter how small—will help lighten the burden of this trip. We are deeply grateful for every donation as we work to reunite our family and start this new chapter together.
