  1. Hello, our names are Dad (Sean), Mother (Vanessa), and Daughter (Avianna), and we are reaching out during the most difficult time of our lives. Recently, our family lost everything, including our home. We are currently staying in a family shelter, trying to rebuild our lives from scratch. While we are safe, we are facing an immediate, crushing obstacle: we have no reliable transportation. We are asking for help to raise funds for bus passes. This isn't just about getting around; it is our lifeline to getting back on our feet. With bus passes, we can: Get to work: [Father/Mother] has job opportunities waiting, but we cannot afford the daily commute to secure income. Access medical care: [Father] has critical doctor appointments for ongoing health conditions. Missing these is not an option. Get our daughter to school: Ensuring she has stability and can get to school safely is our top priority. We have lost our home, our belongings, and our peace of mind. Without transportation, we cannot work to afford a new place. We are humbly asking for donations to help cover weekly or monthly bus passes for the next few months while we transition out of the shelter. Any amount—even $5 or $10—will directly go toward transportation to work and medical appointments. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing our story. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and for helping us find a path forward. With gratitude, Sean, Vanessa, and Avianna

  2. My sweet 7-year-old daughter recently went through something no child should ever have to face. A devastating crisis took apartment and took everything from her. In just one night, she lost her home, her clothes, her school supplies, her favorite toys, and all the little that made her feel safe and happy. We are now staying in a family shelter, trying to take things one day at a time. Despite everything, she is still so brave. She wakes up each day with a smile, still excited about school, still full of hope. But the truth is… she has to start over from nothing. We are asking for help to give her a fresh start. Your support will go toward: - School supplies (backpack, notebooks, pencils, crayons) - School clothes and shoes - Basic daily needs - A few toys or comfort items to help her feel like a child again Every donation, no matter the size, will mean the world to her. Even sharing this page can make a huge difference. As a parent, it’s incredibly hard to see your child lose everything—but it’s even harder to not be able to replace it on your own. That’s why we are reaching out with hope in our hearts. If you can help, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you can’t, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers and consider sharing. Let’s help her smile even brighter again Thank you for your kindness and support.

  3. Our family lost our home and everything in it. With a mom, a dad fighting stage 4 cancer, and a young daughter, we’re starting over from nothing in a shelter. Your support helps us rebuild hope, dignity, and stability together.

  4. We never thought this would be our story. One day we had a home. Not a big or perfect one—but it was ours. It held bedtime stories, laughter in the kitchen, arguments that ended in hugs, and the quiet moments where we felt safe. Every picture, every blanket, every little thing had a memory tied to it. Then everything unraveled. While our family was already fighting the hardest battle of our lives—a father battling stage 4 cancer—life kept coming. Appointments, treatments, exhaustion, fear, and trying to stay strong for our child became our daily reality. In the middle of that fight, we fell behind. Not because we didn’t care, but because survival became the priority. And before we could catch our breath, our home was gone. Everything inside it was gone too. Years of memories. Our daughter’s belongings. The life we built together—reduced to nothing. We walked away with just a few bags of clothes, holding our child’s hand, trying not to let her see us break. Today, we’re living in a family shelter. We wake up grateful that we’re still together—but heartbroken over what was lost. We are parents trying to stay strong for our little girl while quietly wondering how to rebuild from absolutely nothing. How to create stability when everything familiar disappeared overnight. This isn’t easy to share. It’s humbling. It’s painful. But it’s real. We are not asking for luxury—only for help. Help with basic needs. Help with clothing, food, transportation, and the ability to keep up with medical appointments during a life-or-death battle. Help to put comfort back into our child’s life and hope back into ours. If you choose to donate, please know this: you are not just giving money. You are giving a family a chance to stand back up. You are helping a father continue fighting for his life. You are giving a child safety, warmth, and hope. And even if you can’t donate, sharing our story or keeping us in your thoughts means more than you can imagine. Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring. Thank you for reminding us that kindness still exists, even in the darkest moments
