My journey began when I rescued a tiny 5lb chihuahua named Poppit. She has bad hips and pops around when she walks—hence her name! Watching Poppit struggle with mobility opened my eyes to the challenges faced by small and senior dogs, and inspired me to take action. I am now using Poppit as my prototype to develop custom-fit, comfortable wheelchairs and walking assistance devices for dogs like her. 
 
 
 My goal is to make these mobility solutions accessible and free for rescues and agencies that help dogs recuperate and find loving homes. While I hope to help larger dogs in the future, right now I am focused on creating products for small dogs, ensuring each one is unique, comfortable, and effective. I am also eager to network with veterinarians to find the best ways to make these solutions truly life-changing. 
 
 
 The funds raised will go directly toward purchasing the materials and machines needed to create these products, as well as covering travel expenses so I can meet with rescues, connect with veterinary professionals, and build relationships in the community. With your support, I can launch this compassionate project and help more dogs like Poppit find comfort, mobility, and a second chance.

Help Launch Mobility Solutions for Small Dogs

Hello Friends, Family and Colleagues! Thank you for taking time out of your day and checking out this great cause. As you may know (or are about to find out) I'm about to start my seventh quarter as a chiropractic student! It has been an unbelievable journey so far and I'm more pumped than ever about my move to such a life affirming career! I truly feel that I've found my calling and I am doing everything possible to create opportunities and to make the most of them.  <img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/6220465_1443914647.9388_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /> On December 27th, I am embarking on a service trip to Jamaica to serve people who don't have access to this type of health care. Together, with about 100 dedicated doctors and students from around the nation, we will spend 5 days giving our all to the beautiful people of Jamaica. I'm excited to put in the work to be able to deliver nothing but the highest quality care on this trip. The desire to provide this type of care sparked a movement in chiropractic and it's taking the nation by storm, Adjusting Ninjas. I'm proud to say that I am an Adjusting Ninja and have trained very hard an hour and a half before school, multiple days a week, with this group since my first week of school. Chiropractic is a philosophy, science and art that aims to detect and eliminate any and all vertebral subluxations. Subluxations are interferences within the nervous system. Science proves that the nervous system is in charge of everything! It controls your muscles, your breathing, all of your organs and glands and even your heart beat!  Our philosophy states that your body is a self healing, self organizing machine. When the communication between your brain and body (which happens via nerves) is free and clear your body will be able to do it's job optimally. Our art comes through as a Chiropractic adjustment, which restores this vital connection. The adjustment is a skill and craft that takes a lifetime to master but when done at a moment of pure connection and ease, can have a profound impact.
