What they care about

I am a heart-centered Holistic Health Practitioner. I believe humans are here to serve and to learn how to be better than we were yesterday. Gratitude is a key.

Friends, I need financial help today. If you have $10, $20, $50 or more to spare, please consider donating to help me get my account out of the negative and cover my immediate bills. Every donation helps. Thank you.
Life Update: Praying for Some Positive Flow Last weekend, I went to Tucson so my business partner and his friend could take care of a few minor things on the Tesla. What was supposed to be a relatively simple project turned into something much bigger. When they opened the charging port, they discovered exposed wiring connected to the high-voltage battery system. Thankfully, they caught it. The car went straight to the Tesla Service Center for repairs, and I got a ride home from Tucson on Tuesday. I've been without the car ever since. The timing has been incredibly frustrating because I just started driving for HopSkipDrive, and it was actually working! Last week, I received my first paycheck. I paid bills. I bought groceries and dog food. I finally did my laundry. And, admittedly, I spent way too much money on Lyft rides trying to get around without a car. For a moment, there was cash flow again. Then the Tesla went into the shop. I had to cancel every HopSkipDrive ride I had scheduled for this week. Each day without the car represents approximately $120 in lost income. First, Tesla estimated the car would be finished Friday afternoon. Then Monday. Yesterday, I thought I was finally getting it back - only to have the completion date extended again to today. So I'm waiting. Again. Meanwhile, bills haven't stopped coming out of my account. I've depleted what I had, and this morning my bank account is negative again. The good news? I have food. Little Bear has food. We have our home. For that, I am genuinely grateful. I'm also paying close attention to my physical capacity. Yesterday, it took me about four hours to finish folding my laundry because I needed to rest and catch my breath between loads. I wasn't distracted. I was exhausted. After representing PFLAG Phoenix at an event Saturday, it took my body several days to recover. That's something I'm learning to articulate better about living with disability: My disability is a capacity problem. I can work. I can volunteer. I can speak. I can drive. I can build a business. I can do my laundry. But I cannot necessarily do all of those things at the frequency, duration, or intensity that an able-bodied person might expect. And I'm learning to honor that instead of judging myself for it. Financially, I'm trying very hard to create a different story. I'm promoting my healing services because I know my own business has the potential to sustain me. I'm building new opportunities. I'm working on my relationship with money and choosing to believe in abundance rather than allowing this temporary negative balance to convince me that everything is falling apart. I believe in myself. I believe in my work. And I believe in my potential. Right now, though, I could use a little help creating some positive flow. If you have the capacity to help me get my bank account back above zero and cover some bills while I wait for the Tesla - and my HopSkipDrive income - to start flowing again, I would be incredibly grateful. You can support me by: Sending a donation Booking one of my healing services Purchasing one of my books Sharing my work with someone who might need it Praying for me Sending intentional abundance blessings my way And today, I'm asking for one very specific miracle: Please let the Tesla be finished. I have rides to drive, people to serve, work to do, and money to make. I'm ready for things to start flowing again. I appreciate donations and prayers! Thank you for continuing to believe in me and support me through all these twists and turns. ~Stephanie and Little Bear
Life Update — I Need a Little Help Bridging the Gap Friends, I need to ask my community for support again. For the past two months, I was incredibly grateful to have financial support from my fiancé while I continued working toward creating sustainable income of my own. That relationship has now ended. There was love between us, but I came to recognize that we were fundamentally out of alignment in some of our beliefs and values. I needed to honor that truth, even knowing it meant losing the financial support I had been receiving. At the same time, there has been another major change. After years of pursuing Social Security Disability, my attorney recommended that I withdraw my current claim because my attempts to return to work put me above Social Security's applicable earnings threshold. Continuing the claim could create a heavier burden of proof if my disability prevents me from sustaining employment again in the future. So, for now, disability benefits are no longer the safety net I had hoped was coming. I have to find a way to support myself—and I'm trying. There is good news. I recently joined a startup company that has tremendous potential for my future, and this past Friday I started driving for HopSkipDrive. I already have rides scheduled throughout this week. Once it gets rolling, I'm hopeful this can generate $600+ per week. For the first time in a while, I can see a viable path toward supporting myself again. I just need help bridging the gap between here and there. August has been incredibly difficult. On July 24th, I was involved in a hit-and-run accident that left me with whiplash and a concussion. I've been receiving medical care, but the Tesla I was driving was also in the shop for two weeks. That meant almost no income. I've gone more than two weeks without properly buying groceries or doing my laundry. With the little money I made driving Lyft on Friday, I bought a block of tofu, paper towels, and toilet paper. That's how tight things are right now. My September rent is $1,117, and right now I don't have ANY of the money to pay it. My storage payment is also past due. I earned my first $119 with HopSkipDrive, which should reach my bank account next week. I'm driving throughout this coming week, so more income is coming. I'm working. I'm rebuilding. I'm doing everything I can. I simply need help getting from here to there. If you have a little extra and feel called to help, even $10, $20, or $50 can help me put food in my refrigerator, do laundry, buy gas, catch up on storage, or get closer to paying rent. I have Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, and GoFundMe. If you can't contribute financially, sharing this post, praying for me, or sending some good energy my way is also deeply appreciated. This community has helped carry me through some of the hardest moments of my life. I would not be here without you, and I don't take that love for granted. I'm choosing myself. I'm choosing hope. I'm choosing to believe in the opportunities appearing in front of me. I just need a little help getting from here to there. With deep gratitude, Stephanie & Little Bear
With Gratitude, I Ask for Your Continued Support Hello friends, First, thank you. Whether you've donated, shared this campaign, purchased a book, booked a session, sent a prayer, checked in on me, or simply held me in your thoughts, your support has carried me through one of the most challenging seasons of my life. I honestly don't know where I would be without this community. As many of you know, I have been navigating chronic pain, mobility challenges, neurological symptoms, and the long process of seeking answers about my health for years. What began with injuries in my twenties grew into a complex web of pain, inflammation, balance issues, falls, nervous system dysregulation, and physical limitations that have become increasingly difficult to manage. I've seen more than 50 doctors over the years. I've completed physical therapy, undergone surgeries, tried countless treatments, and continued searching for answers. While I still don't have a complete diagnosis, the impact on my daily life is very real. I am currently awaiting my Social Security Disability hearing, which is scheduled for August 20, 2026. Until then, I am living in a difficult gap between being unable to work consistently and not yet receiving disability benefits. For a while, I was able to supplement my income by driving for Lyft. Unfortunately, that option has become unavailable due to both my physical limitations and significant vehicle repairs that are needed before my car can safely return to the road. My vehicle currently needs over $1,350 in repairs, including a water pump replacement and tires. The loss of that income has created an immediate financial crisis. At this time, I am seeking support for my basic living expenses, including: • Rent and utilities for my studio apartment • Food and household necessities • Phone service • Vehicle repairs • Medical expenses and appointments • General living expenses while awaiting disability approval One of the most humbling lessons of this experience has been learning to receive. I have always been someone who helps others. Through my wellness work, writing, energy healing, volunteer service, community leadership, and advocacy, I have dedicated much of my life to supporting people through difficult times. Now I find myself in the position of needing that same support. What has surprised me most is that while many formal support systems have come up short, the kindness of individual people has shown up again and again. Friends. Readers. Clients. Community members. People who simply care. You have reminded me that community is real. Because of that, I would like to offer a Spiritual Gifts Exchange as a way to give back to those who feel called to support me. Spiritual Gifts Exchange $25 Donation Handmade crystal jewelry set (necklace, bracelet, and earrings) $50 Donation Oracle Card Pull + Mini Reading $100 Donation Psychic Reading or Mediumship Session $200 Donation Full Akashic Records Reading These offerings are my way of expressing gratitude while continuing to share the gifts, wisdom, and healing work I have cultivated over many years. If you feel called to contribute, please know that every donation—regardless of size—helps me remain housed, fed, connected, and focused on healing while I wait for my disability hearing. If you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign, purchasing one of my books, booking a service, or sending a prayer is also deeply appreciated. Thank you for believing in me during a chapter when it has been difficult to believe in myself. Thank you for helping me keep a roof over my head. Thank you for helping me continue the healing journey. With deep gratitude, Stephanie & Little Bear
