<div>Hi everyone! I've been putting this off, but it's time I reach out for some help. I hate doing this, but it's become necessary. I'm self employed, no employees, and have been unable to work for 8 months now. Zero income. I was diagnosed on June 2, 2023 with advanced stage 4 ovarian cancer that spread to a huge tumor on my spleen and 2 more small tumors on the other side of my stomach. After my first chemo, I had a bad reaction. I felt very, very sick. Back to the ER to find out I had a perforation in my bowel, which caused an infection. I quickly became septic and was on my death bed. I had emergency surgery and, luckily, my oncologist was able to find the bullet size hole, remove 4 inches of my bowel, fix everything, and gave me an ostomy. Which is a very expensive &amp; annoying medical necessity. I spent 3 months in &amp; out of the hospital, ER, ICU with infections, blood pressure issues, etc. After 5 months, I'm still going through chemo. I go for an updated PET scan soon and will know the status of my cancer, and the tumors. I haven't been able to work since my diagnosis. I'm in extreme pain, weak, dizzy, etc. I lost a lot of weight &amp; strength. I don't know how much longer I'll be unable to work. Luckily, my sister has been a huge help, but everything is behind and bills are piling up. I had to sell my car. I'm selling furniture &amp; other items I have in storage as much as possible, but not having much luck. I need help with rent, electric, food, prescriptions, medical supplies, doctor appts, gas, etc. Anything will help!! 100% goes to me directly!! If you can't help financially, please share on social media. I also accept Zelle. I'm extremely thankful for amazing doctors and nurses for keeping me alive, literally saving my life!! Kick Cancer's Butt!! Again!!!

Carl Ruiz suddenly left this earth on September 21, 2019. Carl was one of the most talented chefs of his generation. His knowledge of culinary preparations and cuisines from around the world was unrivaled. His talents could be seen on the Food Network on Guy’s Grocery Games or Guy’s Kitchen Ranch or in any of the many the many restaurants he owned both for himself and for others over the years. He was also a sage when it came to watches, cars, fine wine, and most notably enjoying life in the moment and those around him. He showcased that on the pod cast he did with Greg Hughes aka Opie. Carl’s sense of humor and quick wit made him the guy everyone wanted to know and spend time with. And if Carl was your friend he was all in! His friends and family are creating a foundation to honor his memory and his passions. The foundation will be called #ruizingforacause and will support culinary education and seeking a cure for Alzheimer’s. Two causes Carl was tied and who will benefit from your generosity.

<strong>PLEASE HELP ME BRING MY MOM HOME!<br /></strong><br />My mom was critically injured while in California working with OTTB (Off the track Thoroughbreds).<strong><br /></strong>She was there helping to relocate them to a rehabilitation center where they could start their new lives away from the racetrack.<br />While the horses were being unloaded, one of the horses spooked as it was coming off the trailer. The handler loss control of it as it freaked out &amp; started kicking at everything around it. <br />Unfortunately hitting our mom directly in the chest, as she was waiting for another horse to come off the trailer.<br />The blunt force trauma from the kick caused Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). Which stopped her heart instantly, she stopped breathing &amp; collapsed!!!<br /><br /> The Vet at the facility was able to resuscitate, but the damage was done. <br />She is currently on Life Support, but is showing good improvement. She is still unconscious, hasn't woken up yet.<br />She suffered Myocardial Contusion, Pulmonary Contusion, a few fractured ribs, fluid around her heart &amp; is currently being checked for permanent brain damage. <br /><br />The problem is that she is 3000 miles from home, her family &amp; friends. She is currently in Southern California, she lives in Tampa Bay Florida.<br /><br />I have called many medical transport companies &amp; they range in cost depending on care needed &amp; due to the distance. All are expensive.<br /><br />We need her to come home to us, her family, friends &amp; all who love her...so if you could help me I'd be grateful!!!<img class="not-resizable" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/25225234_1510165612.4882_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" />
