Helping Marina Heal Tina is raising this fundraiser for Marina, a dear friend and  concierge in her building. Over the past three years, Marina has been a steady source of kindness, care, and comfort to Tina and so many neighbors. She always took time to greet everyone with a smile, and she showed special love to the dogs in the building, including Tina’s two dogs, with hugs, treats, and thoughtful attention. Marina is the kind of person who gives freely of her time and energy, always checking in, offering help, and bringing warmth to the people and animals around her. About a month ago, Marina had a serious fall on the sidewalk that caused a fractured right ankle, tendon damage, and thrombosis in the peroneal vein in her right calf. Since then, she has been living with constant pain and has been unable to walk without assistance. What should have been a short recovery has turned into a long and difficult medical journey, with X-rays, an MRI, an ultrasound, medication, and more healing time at home ahead, followed by physical therapy. Marina is doing everything she can to follow medical advice and recover, but the physical, emotional, and financial strain has been overwhelming. The funds raised will help Marina with medical bills, co-pays, medication costs, and physical therapy as she works toward healing and returning to work. Marina has spent years caring for others with patience, positivity, and a truly generous heart. Now Tina hopes others will join in caring for Marina during this difficult time.
