 <strong>In 2024, Seamus (Seamie) Holton was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). </strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive, terminal neurological condition with no cure. It gradually takes away a person’s ability to perform everyday tasks such as swallowing, speaking, walking, using their hands, and even breathing.
</div>
<div>
 In Seamus's case, the disease has already cost him his speech, his ability to swallow, and his capacity to walk unaided.
</div>
<div>
 While it has stolen much of his physical strength, it has never taken away the man he is. He never complains. Instead, he continues to face each day with immense courage, kindness, and humour.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Throughout his life, Seamus has always been the first to help others.
</div>
<div>
 Today, we are asking you to help him.
</div>

 <strong>Meet Seamus: A Life of Giving</strong>
</div>
<div>
 If you know Seamus, you know he is one of life’s truly genuine people, always looking out for others and always out for the craic.
</div>
<div>
 Raised in Baconstown near Enfield, County Meath, Ireland, Seamus loved participating in local sports, including football with Baconstown GAA and boxing at St. Pat's Boxing Club. He loves nothing more than watching the Meath football team or the Irish Rugby team play.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 After finishing school, he moved to London, where he learned his bricklaying trade and met the love of his life, Donna. He later spent time in Donna's native New Zealand, after which they settled in Sydney, Australia, to raise their two sons, Daniel and Finn.
</div>
<div>
 Always eager to give back to others, he dedicated time to coaching the local youth football team and volunteering to carry out essential repairs at the boys' school.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Hardworking, strong, and exceptionally generous, Seamus has always lived for his family and the outdoors, enjoying activities like camping, mountain biking, fishing, playing rugby with the boys and gardening.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 His favourite saying perfectly reflects his brave outlook, <strong>“You’ve got to keep the good side out”</strong>.<strong> </strong>
</div>
<div>
 Even now, those words reflect the brave way he chooses to live.
</div>

 <strong>Why Your Support Matters Today</strong>
</div>
<div>
 As MND progresses, the practical and financial challenges grow rapidly.
</div>
<div>
 Your support will help ease the financial pressures facing Seamus and Donna, covering ongoing living expenses, vital home modifications as Seamus’s needs change, and the increasing costs of specialized care.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Most importantly, it will allow Donna to spend precious time caring for Seamus without the added stress of lost income when she needs to take time away from work. It will also help them enjoy simple days out and create treasured memories together while they still can.
</div>
<div>

<div>
 <strong>How You Can Help</strong>
</div>
<div>
 Every single contribution will make a profound difference to Seamus.
</div>
<ul>
 <li><strong>Donate:</strong> Any amount, big or small, directly eases his daily burden.</li>
 <li><strong>Share:</strong> Please share this link on your social media, group chats, and with friends in Ireland, the UK, New Zealand, and Australia.</li>
</ul>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Whether you are able to donate or simply share this page, your kindness and support mean more than words can say.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Thank you for standing beside Seamus and his family. Your generosity helps them focus on what matters most: being together, making precious memories and knowing they are surrounded by the love of family, friends and the wider community.
