I'm raising funds for my daughter-in-law, Melissa Pease, the wife of my son Michael. Last week, Melissa suffered a life-threatening stroke and was not expected to survive. The bleeding on her brain was described as the size of an orange and left her brain slightly off center.
Since then, Melissa has made small improvements and has been moved out of the ICU, and for that our family is beyond grateful. Right now, though, she is unable to walk, and she cannot eat solid food or drink fluids. Her prognosis is still unknown, and we know her recovery will take many months, if not longer. We are all praying for a full recovery.
Michael and Melissa have a small home business and could not afford insurance, and they do not have the means to pay the mounting hospital bills. Donations will help cover Melissa's hospital bills and related medical expenses during this long recovery, easing some of the financial burden on their family while they focus on her healing.
Thank you for your love, help, and prayers for Melissa. Any donation would mean so much, and we would deeply appreciate it if you would also share this page with your friends.
