On Sunday November 16th 2025, God received his newest angel in our loving mom and grandma Josefa Macias Peña. She was surrounded by her loving family in her home as she peacefully passed on at the amazingly long life of 99 years. We are so deeply happy and honored to have her in all our lives for so long and we will never forget the memories and lessons she passed on to everyone she knew and had in her life. If possible we would greatly appreciate any and all donations so that we can cover funeral costs. We know she will always be with us in our hearts and that she's smiling down in heaven on us with her husband Genaro Peña and daughter Teresa Peña. We love you and will always remember the long life you lived with us. If you cannot contribute financially please keep her and her family in your prayers.

In Loving Memory of Josefa Macias Peña

Several years ago, when I had better insurance. I went to the Mayo Clinic and they told me I need a new hip. It didn't hurt much then, but after several years of working at home and worrying about my father's prolonged hospitalization, I find that I am in pain every time I walk. I have Affordable Care Insurance and it has a much higher deductible. I am asking for help meeting that maximum out of pocket figure so that I can rejoin life and the working world.

He was only 49 when he died. Rob was a great friend to all he met as well as a respected Posse member (P153) for the Pinal County Sheriff's Office. Most importantly, he was a loving father to Matthew, Ryan, and myself (Katelyn). We are all devastated and heartbroken by the loss of our Dad.

Some of my and my brothers' favorite memories with our Dad include camping and boating trips, traveling around the country, going on police ride-alongs with him, and even just ordering pizza at home.

I want to thank everyone at PCSO for their endless support of my family and I through all of this. Rob was extremely proud and grateful to have been part of such an amazing community since his induction in 2010. He loved and valued the friendships and memories he made more than I can begin to express.

We kindly ask that if you would like to support the costs of the memorial arrangements, to please donate to this GoFundme page. We thank you for your kindness, love, and support through this difficult time.

Robert Parsons Memorial Fund

On September 10, 2019, Helena was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, or ALL, which is an aggressive form of Leukemia which attacks lymphocytes, the cells that are supposed to protect us from infection. With ALL, the treatment is equally aggressive, consisting of several rounds of chemotherapy, full body radiation and stem cell transplant of bone marrow. Some of the treatment steps happen together at the same time but not all of them, which extends the overall treatment time. The initial chemotherapy takes weeks and requires the patient to be hospitalized and watched around the clock for side effects and infections. Health insurance helps to cover parts of the treatment steps but each day in the hospital, each procedure and each test and treatment all contribute to a very challenging financial part of being a cancer survivor, as well as for all of the family members that are directly impacted as part of this diagnosis and journey.
